  1. I believe the expectation was for him to see out his contract (1 more season) and then leave.

If we are able to get a nice splash of cash from Saudi Arabia and get in Di Gregorio at a reasonable fee it seems like good business to me.

  2. uhh, didn’t he say he didn’t want into saudi? money talks…

  3. I’m all for it. Saving on a big salary, allowing for Di Gregorio to start straight away who is more fit for Motta’s tactics.

Love Tek and he’s been stellar this and past seasons but if he’ll be one of the sacrifices needed to earn us a better team, so be it.

  4. He’s been the most consistent player in the last couple of seasons and has saved our ass on multiple occasions. On top of that – he waited patiently for the no.1 spot to take over from Buffon. I personally think he deserves to stay based on merit. I also think Juve has many more problematic positions than the GK one and that it’s more about money and the contractual situation but I’m going to miss him a lot if he leaves.

Has anyone seen enough of Di Gregorio in the last couple of seasons? Is he really someone experienced enough to take over the #1 from next season? I agree he is a good addition for the long term, just have my doubts for the short term.

  5. I don’t see him going for the oil money, but hey maybe I’m wrong.

  6. Tek is insanely talented and has been really crucial in many games for this team, but a bit of an overhaul might be necessary to compete for the Champions League going forward. Won’t be upset if he sees out his contract, but best of luck on his next venture if he does leave.
