  4. So the coup in Niger last year wasn’t just denying France its uranium supply… it was providing one to Iran.

    The Russian support for coups in French Africa is the reason for France’s renewed determination in Ukraine…

    We are already two years into a world war, people.

  7. Should be an act of war, at least on Niger and collectively from the west. And the reason for that is, it will deter a country from assisting a state which would happily use them and cause ww3 ever again and, it could be down to Niger giving uranium to Iran that sets off a huge unfortunate world ending chain of events. Iran having nukes is in NOBODIES interest. I belive this is what putin was alluding to as well, he wasn’t talking conventional.

  10. This was a widely known risk for quite some time, ever since France was pushed out of the region in Russian-backed coups. There’s a reason you hear France so much in the news when it comes to Russia.

Posting for future reference: I had a design that utilized this satellite behavior and setup as an infiltrating force, essentially a bucket chain that would bring a nuclear device through Mexico into the United States using mules and coyotes, from an upstream Russian / 2nd World entity. My description was based on disdain for US Middle East and Latin American style proxy wars. Most recently we see a repeat of a proxy war with Ukraine (remember 2014?), and a mention of Russian ships approaching Cuba, both from the previous design.

    At the time of writing it was due to pessimism regarding globalization and capitalism having no specific interest in the United States or democracy.

  21. Alright. I’ll ask, since no one else has, as far as I can see: is Iran gun-ho enough to yeet a nuclear missile at their neighbors, and is that really what we are all afraid of?

  23. Real question for academic purposes. Why do countries need nuclear weapons development programs. The Manhattan project is such common knowledge there’s a movie about it. You can find basically anything on the internet. Like what’s to develop? Why not just copy what the US and Russia have made.

  24. Illicit? How is it illicit for them but ok for others. Let’s remember more YS citizens are killed by US police than all mass shootings combined and all US citizens killed by Iran, China, Russia and both Koreas combined.
