  1. Do you know why Russia’s SU-57’s are harder to detect and destroy than American 5th-generation fighters?

Because they don’t exist outside of press-shoots.

Their one 57 destroyed of what, seven? Womp womp, Russia.

  2. Why are all the Russian jets of say last 40 years look like the same?

  3. “Sergei, we only have 22 SU-57.” “I don’t care. Park it within striking distance of the front lines!”

  4. When you think the Russian military tech can’t reach a new low…

  5. Imagine a single drone destroying 10+% of Russia’s “stealth” fleet.

  6. I would love to be there to witness a “The Death of Stalin” moment where lower rank officers decide on how to break the news to their superiors 🤣…”Suka, blyati, pizdets….”

  7. Hit for the first time? So it had to be stationary on the ground for them to be able to hit it with a drone/uav? Headline makes it sound like they shot it out if the sky, but it was stationary outdoors at an airstrip. Does Ukraine have the capability to detect and shoot one of these down while it’s in the air?

  8. The Habitual Line Crosser will have field day with this news

  9. That’s nothing, all you need is a slightly-worn Phillips screwdriver bit and a Harbor Freight impact driver to destroy these planes.

  10. Hit only now because it wasn’t deployed on the frontline because Russians feared that it could be hit and their overall amount is very low . So used only on Russia terrotory for use with long-range rockets or gliding bombs.

  11. Confirmed by Fighterbomber, should be legit. Good fucking shit.

  12. Need to see a javelin kill a T14 armata when they finally put them on the front lines.

  13. It’s important to remember what a myth buster seeing it destroyed can be. Granted, it wasn’t in the air. But I imagine this thing was terrifying if you were Ukrainian and 2 years into the war, not even one had been shot down yet.

Apparently, it was destroyed some 560km away from the frontline, which seems like the minimum safe distance for it to take off from with 400km~ missiles.

The nature of its destruction doesn’t really tell us anything about the plane. Any plane lying in the open without a hangar could have been destroyed this way. But the fact that Russia didn’t dare use this “stealth” fighter more aggressively around the frontlines suggests they had reason to be afraid.
