Russia-Ukraine War Update / June 9, 2024 / Ukraine DESTROYED a Russian SU-57!

hey guys Chris and Ukrainian Canadian today is June 9th 2024 and let’s get to the news happening in Ukraine shall we really big news today and for the very first time in history Ukraine managed to destroy an Su 57 and this is confirmed through settle out imagery from yesterday which confirms some burn marks around the jet fighter pretty much indicating that it has been damaged at the very least let’s remember that this is Russia’s latest most modern uh jet fighter that they have the fifth generation jet fighter and it costs up to $35 million to produce it and Russia so far has only 22 of them and producing them is is extremely expensive especially now since Russia doesn’t have the components as readily available as they used to be right they have to go through a bunch of other markets uh purchase them through shell companies to be able to receive these very crucial Western components because definitely the Russian of not been able to build the s57 with their own russian-made components whether it be chips which we know they’re behind um computer boards whatever the electronic systems is not something the Russians have innovated in whatsoever so losing even one of them is an embarrassment for the Russians and also the fact that they have been using them they’ve not just been a Prestige plane that they just kept on the side like the t-14 Armada they have been utilizing them and they are cares of the x16 cruise missile which have become more actively used against Ukraine the last few months so destroying them of course reduces the overall intensity of the use of these cruise missiles and uh the most important thing as well is that it again confirms that the ukraines have free Reign Over Russian Skies the Russian air defense systems are not efficient they’re not functional they cannot cover the Russian sky and as a result of that the Ukraine can fly their longrange drones freely and this Airi field in question is in Akin which is about 600 km away from Ukraine so pretty far away and you would think that such an important Airbase would have some somewhat of an air defense system and they weren’t able to stop uh small Ukrainian longrange drones so this is a great great news and I can only hope that not only the SC 57s will get completely destroyed but also the Russian T 95s M which they have been utilizing very frequently to conduct their terrorist operations in Ukraine by launching dozens of missiles every other day and striking civilian um civilian areas in Ukraine so overall great news and we can only hope that the ukrainians can strike and Destroy more of su 57s and other jet fighters and other bombers that the Russians have furthermore some good news from belgrad and today an Ammunition Depot in the village of central was d uh not destroyed but an Ammunition Depot that was close to the Village was destroyed and you can see that Russia is clearly hiding these ammunition Depots in civilian areas if you look at the Village of central um based on the imagery and the geolocation the ammunition dump is literally right beside uh civilian housing and that indicates that the Russians are trying to hide them there uh to to add an additional uh safety layer right like the ukrain won’t be hitting civilian areas but the ukraini have precise Weaponry which allows them to be very precise and avoid striking civilian areas right so that clearly backfired for the Russians and I think that part of this uh strategy by the ukrain was to stop a Poss Russian incursion in Su if I show you guys on the map where Calo is in belgrad it’s actually towards the Su region so if we go back to belgrad which is bordering right uh with the har o blast in Ukraine and Su o blast Calo is actually about 30 50 kilometers away from uh the border with Ukraine and you can see that when um calculating the distance here it’s about actually 35 km so the ukrainians struck an ammunition de about uh 35 40 km away from the border and the Russians certainly were using this Ammunition Depot preparing for an eventual attack on Su we’ve talked about in the last few months uh the Russians are interested in creating multiple fronts uh to destabilize the Ukraine defenses in donbas reallocate certain assets um in other regions which could have been used to defend let’s say a divka region chivar um borka kopans right it’s all about destabilizing the ukrainians uh so the ukra now thankfully we don’t know what weapon was used here could have been a longrange drone could have been high a high missile I don’t know uh it’s still not confirmed but since the ukrainians now have the green light as well to utilize precise well-developed Western weapons such as the high Mars storm Shadows scalps um even bringing some Caesars or uh German pouncer habits at 2000s which have a much longer range they can strike deeper within Russia now without worrying that they’re going to get a call from Washington or Paris or or Berlin and telling them to stop it so overall this is good news news it indicates that again for the last few weeks through ukrainians have been striking Russia and specifically military Targets in Russia and nothing happened this entire nuclear saber rattling that the Russians have been threatening the entire world with well clearly it’s a bluff again we see that the ukraines have um have called out the Russians on that and nothing’s going on right they’re not going to be using nuclear weapons in my opinion because it’s not interesting for the Russians to strike in Ukraine and that will directly impact the Russians as well because Russia is right beside Ukraine right it’s like bombing yourself almost so I believe that that’s a bluff by the Russians so overall that’s the situation in harv um and Su but one last little thing before I go to my next slide I wanted to give you guys an update on the har situation which is not uh very good for the ukrainians it’s unconfirmed but uh I’ve seen a lot of reports recently last day or two that the ukra have been able to dislodge the Russians from the village of you can see that this is the first offensive that the Russians begun um last last month and it was really meant to go towards har as close as possible and you’ve seen that last few weeks the Russians have been stopped around lipy so this is the um the small village right at the bottom here and the Ukraine are now striking on both sides and lukan and they’ve been able to apparently dislodge the Russian positions here one thing I think has helped is that the Madar Birds if you guys don’t know him uh he has a unit of very skilled and experienced drone Fighters and Pilots um and they’ve been mostly operating in hon region so the Left Bank of hon and some of these units were moved in the last two three weeks to harv to help with the defense of khv and they’ve been very effective I’ve seen so much footage of these drone Pilots striking um small Russian units trying to get through through the the forest or through roads and Har and they’ve been very effective so I think that in the next few days we’re going to get some good news from hok and additionally in V Chans so that is the other front that the Russians have opened here um also un confirmed reports indicating that Ukraine’s almost control the city entirely they’ve been able to drive out the Russians from vonk and the Russians barely control 10% of the city so it still remains to be uh confirmed uh it’s just really raw reports so far but I really can’t anticipate the Russians to do much more than what they have right now uh they don’t have enough resources enough men based on you know the amount of you can see brigades that they’ve moved and divisions it’s not enough to uh to have a massive breakthrough here they need um much more men at least 100,000 if not more uh far more armored vehicles and they’ve lost so much already just in the past month so I think the Ukraine are turning the tide here and it could be that by the end of the summer the Ukraine could drive entirely um the Russians entirely back to Russia from this area which would be a huge win for Ukraine but we have to see that again I’m not anticipating that this is going to happen very quickly but it can happen and this will certainly be be a big boost for the Ukraine moral because unfortunately we’ve seen that since September of last year there hasn’t been any Ukrainian gains or um you know a big victory like this so I think this is really important that Ukraine’s focus on driving the the Russians out of here and this will provide a big morale boost for the Ukraine forces the Ukraine people and I think all of that is in in line with the fact that the Ukraine have been able to rearm they’ve been rearmed by the west and now they’re turning the tide and everywhere on the front line I think the Ukraine will be able to stabilize the situation in certain areas have small breakthroughs uh take some Villages back and I think we’re going to see the tie turn in Ukraine’s favor but that is based on the factor that the West continues to provide support to Ukraine whether it be Financial or military assistance Ukraine needs to continue receiving that because this is the lifeline for Ukraine let’s face it without that we’ve seen that the ukrain were struggling without a steady supply of Weaponry in the last 6 months before the military assistance package was was passed in Washington so this is really important uh so that is one of the most important factors because that is the factor that um decides how successful the Ukraine military is it’s not the only one of course but that is one of the most important so that’s the update for Su and KH region and it’s good to see that the Ukraine can continue striking very large military Targets in Russia specifically in belgrad because we see that belgrad covers so many Ukrainian or borders so many Ukrainian old blast so the Russians are really operating heavily around belgrad also varones Bess in varones and also in ROV this is another very important old blast that the ukrain need to concentrate fire on as well but belgrad since the ukrain control so much of the Border here um they can operate more freely and strike far deeper within this oblast in Russia now now last but not least I just want to share with you again unconfirmed reports it could just be um a small Russian ship but a pro Russian Channel indicated that yesterday Ukraine might have been able to sink and destroy a Russian Landing ship in y and that is in codar if I remember correctly and uh it’s UNC confirmed but it appears that locals were saying that they’ heard massive explosions close to the port of Y and there there was a Russian Landing ship that was present but again it could be a small Russian Patrol ship which would be great either way but we know how valuable Landing ships are for the Russians especially in the situation that Russia will lose the kurge bridge which I think is going to happen it’s inevitable it’s a matter of time and the ukrain are simply degrading Russia’s ability to resupply uh the Crimean Pula whether it be just with basic food medical supplies it’s military they need the ships they need these cargo ships these fairies remember last week I believe the Ukraine sunk two fairies um the the Congo trador something like that and another one the aeng guard um Ferry and now they’re focusing on the landing ships which Russia has a few of uh and Ukraine already has destroyed a few of them as well so overall this is an indication that the ukra are certainly planning an operation on the kurge bridge it’s going to happen probably by the end of the summer I hope it’s going to happen in the next few weeks by the end of July or early July and uh we should be anticipating the kurch bridge to be fully destroyed not just damaged but fully destroyed again the kurge bridge was destroyed or damaged twice in the past but it was just a small sanction Ukraine really needs to assure that this time this is going to be the final attack that will destroy uh a huge span of the bridge at least a few hundred meters so the Russians won’t have any ability to rebuild it um quick enough right because if it’s a small section of 25 50 m m Russia has shown that they’re capable of repairing it in a few months again what we need to also acknowledge is that the Russians don’t have um as much Reliance on the kurge bridge as they used to even a year ago so although this is still important to destroy it’s a key Transportation link for the Russians they have found different ways and of course they didn’t have the choice when Ukraine damaged the bridge the first two times first I believe in October of 2022 and then last year in June July of 2023 the Russians had to adapt right they still have millions of people living in Crimea soldiers troops and civilians that they need to resupply so they had to adapt they built a new Railway link between ROV and Crimea they also have ships evidently so they will still have some ways to bring uh supplies but this will be far more costly and difficult for the Russians so again it’s an unconfirmed news I hope it’s going to be true true but we’ll see next few days once we get more satellite confirmation that indeed there was a landing ship present in YK and just to remind my viewers where YK is it is really uh I believe it’s here yeah it’s really in the sea of aov actually close to marole in berans so the Russians evidently were using YK to resupply marole and berans as well this is not just a Crimea thing this is a vital link to resupply the occupied Ukrainian cities by Russia whether it be no bov Maro berans uh these are uh very important cities especially berans because berans has a big Port so the Russians have this key connection here um so this is again another alternative link that the Russians have rather than having to go through uh through Crimea by Railway link they can you know send some Caro cargo ships Landing ships between Y and bans the distance is what about 100 km at best if I’m calculating yeah 100 km literally uh just a little bit over 100 km so like that’s less than an hour an hour and a half of a trip for uh a ship so you know that’s not so far for them and uh again as I’ve been saying that’s what the Russians are trying to do they’re trying to find alternative ways that they can resupply and so this is good that the ukrain are removing that alternativity for the Russians or that alternative that’s the video for today guys I hope   1. I work with Russians and they love their country but not what Putin is doing. He is ruining the country. But he is cornered. In a war of attrition he only has men. NATO countries have vastly endless resources.

    The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continue the special military operation.

    The units of the Sever Group of Forces have improved the situation along the front line and defeated manpower and hardware of the 82nd Air Assault Brigade of the AFU, 120th, 125th, and 127th brigades of the Ukrainian Territorial Defence close to Volchansk, Sinelnikovo, Zhovtnyovoye, Neskuchnoye, Ternovaya, and Izbitskoye (Kharkov region).

    The servicemen have repelled seven counterattacks by assault groups of the 13th National Guard Brigade, the 36th Marine Brigade, the 71st Jaeger Brigade, and the 101st Guard Brigade of the Ukrainian General Staff.

    The enemy losses were up to 225 troops, seven motor vehicles, and one 152-mm D-20 gun. Three AFU field ammunition depots have been destroyed.

    The units of the Zapad Group of Forces have taken more advantageous lines and defeated formations of 14th, 116th, 115th mechanised, 3rd assault brigades of the AFU and the 13th Brigade of the National Guard close to Sinkovka, Petropavlovka, Berestovoye (Kharkov region), Serebryanka, and Torskoye (Donetsk People's Republic).

    The enemy losses were up to 400 troops, one tank, two armoured fighting vehicles, and five pickup trucks.

    In the course of counter-battery warfare, one Polish-made 155-mm Krab self-propelled artillery system, one 152-mm Msta-B howitzer, one 122-mm Gvozdika self-propelled artillery system, one 122-mm D-30 howitzer, and one 122-mm Grad multiple-launch rocket system were hit.

    The units of the Yug Group of Forces have improved the situation along the front line and defeated manpower and hardware of 28th, 30th, 56th, 93rd mechanised brigades of the AFU and the 12th Special Forces Brigade of the National Guard near Zaliznyanskoye, Elizavetovka, Ivano-Daryevka, Grigorovka, and Kurdyumovka (Donetsk People's Republic). The servicemen have repulsed one counterattack by an assault group of the 112th Territorial Defence Brigade.

    The enemy losses were up to 375 servicemen, two armoured fighting vehicles, four pickup trucks, one U.S.-manufactured 155-mm M109 Paladin self-propelled artillery system, one UK-manufactured 155-mm FH-70 howitzer, one 152-mm Msta-B howitzer, one D-20 152-mm gun, two 122-mm Gvozdika self-propelled artillery systems, one U.S.-manufactured 105-mm M119 gun. One AFU field ammunition depot has been also destroyed.

    The units of the Tsentr Group of Forces have improved the tactical situation and defeated formations of 71st infantry, 23rd, and 47th mechanised brigades of the AFU near Karlovka, Yevgenovka, Novopokrovskoye, and Yasnoborodovka (Donetsk People's Republic).

    The servicemen have repulsed six counterattacks by assault groups of 25th airborne, 24th, and 110th mechanised brigades of the AFU.

    The enemy losses were up to 300 troops, one German-made Marder, U.S.-made Bradley infantry fighting vehicles, and two motor vehicles.

    The units defeated during counter-battery warfare: two 155-mm U.S.-made M777 howitzers, one 152-mm Akatsiya self-propelled artillery system, one 122-mm Gvozdika self-propelled artillery system, two 122-mm D-30 howitzers, and two 100-mm Rapira anti-tank guns.

    The units of the Vostok Group of Forces have taken more favourable lines and also defeated manpower and hardware of the 58th Motorised Infantry Brigade of the AFU, the 123rd Territorial Defence Brigade, and the 21st National Guard Brigade close to Zolotaya Niva, Vremyevka, and Oktyabr (Donetsk People's Republic).

    The enemy losses were up to 140 soldiers, one tank, two armoured fighting vehicles, three motor vehicles, one Polish-made 155-mm Krab self-propelled artillery system, one 152-mm Msta-B howitzer, and one Anklav electronic warfare station.

    The units of the Dnepr Group of Forces have defeated formations of the 121st Territorial Defence Brigade close to Dudchany and Respublikanets (Kherson region).

    The AFU losses were up to 35 servicemen, four pickup trucks, one 122-mm Gvozdika self-propelled artillery system, and one 122-mm D-30 howitzer.

    Operational-Tactical Aviation, unmanned aerial vehicles, Missile Troops and Artillery of the Russian Groups of Forces have struck the locations of strike drones operators (Ptakhi Madyara) and foreign mercenaries, as well as concentration areas of AFU manpower and military hardware in 131 areas.

    Air defence facilities have shot down Mi-8 helicopter of the Ukrainian Air Force. During the day, 66 unmanned aerial vehicles and 13 U.S.-made HIMARS projectiles have been intercepted.

  7. ? It’s all Russian with no external suppliers. Do you think Russians ask countries for top chips for ground breaking AI ? Ha ha ha is that what your selling ? Maybe if you knew anything about the SU or putin you would know better . Maybe understand putins speech in 2003 about there kit only built from Russian parts that sanctions can’t touch. Trust me bro holds more validity than information from Ukraine. Yeah Russia is leading the way in quantum computers and AI , you would know that also if you knew putin asked “ why does our youth leave for colleges outside Russia?” . When the answer came back “ they better than ours “ he replied “ let’s make the best then “.
    Understand how the Russia kit over the last few years has dramatically changed from old to top tech . Just one example is Lockheed Martin f35 production line has one robot screwdriver and half the felons plant is automated ( yeah all complex composite components are made by robots ) . They also making the plant twice as big . Just imagine half your workforce that don’t sleep ,take breaks or holidays.

  9. That airbase has semi-circular garages or sheds for their best jets. I don't know how the drone was able to do so much damage to that jet..

  10. It is dangerous to strike a target within Belgorod. That dictator is under pressure from Putin to join in the attack on Ukraine. He has said that he will attack Ukraine, if Ukraine first strikes his country.

Unfortunately, at the occasion of the European Parliament elections, we learn that France is most probably going to be governed by Extreme Right as soon as next July as the French parliament was dissolved a few hours ago… so the Putin friends are probably going to take power… I feel so sorry for Ukraine!
