Chiesa

  1. So all of the news so far is most likely bullshit and for clicks. Talks still in “early stages” says it all. The dudes about to play in the Euros ffs

  2. I recognize that Juve could still be going in a good direction even with the sale of Chiesa, but I don’t want him to go. He has brought so much joy to many fans in recent years and his skill would be missed. He is not the player he was pre-injury, of course, and I am biased towards him as an Italian because of the beautiful display he put on at Euro 2020, but I do still think he is technically gifted and valuable in his current state.

IMO it is important to have players with game-breaking skill, who can make something happen when the team is all out of ideas. Chiesa is the closest thing Juve have to that right now

  3. We let Dybala go for free, a player who was 10x the player Chiesa is.

  4. The core of Juve should always be Italian. Losing Chiesa, who is the most talented Italian winger and is one of the few Italians who can change the game in an instant, would be a huge mistake.

Not sure how much he is looking for but I doubt Napoli or Roma could pay more than Juve. And if Juve is truly willing to pay Rabiot 8 million, Chiesa is worth 10 million.

  5. Dont know why this is so dramatic, if Motta isnt that convinced by him why keep him? Were signing Motta to build a project- let Giuntoli do it, with or without Fede.

  6. We should be looking to renew his contract, not selling him. Chiesa is a dangerous player to have in the attack. Juve would be dumb to let a player like him go.

  7. I wouldn’t read too much into this. All he said is “could let him”. This screams management and agents giving threats through media trying to get the best deal for themselves. Nothing will happen until after the euros and after motta has trained with chiesa

  8. would be idiotic to sell him to another italian club. If we do sell we should do it for EPL fee.
