A wounded Ukrainian soldier from the 47th brigade saved his life by showing his military ID to a Ukrainian drone. Within an hour, a Bradley vehicle arrived and successfully evacuated him.

  1. Great to see this kid made it out of that hell place.

  2. Smart move by this soldier. Though I’m surprised he didn’t have blue/yellow/green tape wrapped around his uniform or rifle for identification purposes in the first place. I thought that was moreless the norm.

I get that he took his jacket off for the wounds, but I’d be concerned about friendly fire without having myself clearly identified. Especially in the world of drone warfare.

  3. Improvise. Adapt. Overcome. Dude was smart, and lucky, so he lives to fight another day. Well done.

  4. This is truly an amazing story. Wow. I’m blown away by his courage and tenacity, and I’m touched that his comrades were there for him. Truly a band of brothers as they say.

  5. What made it apparent that it was a Ukraine operated drone?

  6. Meanwhile, the orcs abandon their wounded on the battlefield

  7. Fucking hells, dude looks barely older than 23.
We need to give them more gear so they can win this shit already.

  8. Guy is probably already back on the front line haha

  9. Amazing story. Great job all around. One thing that stands out in stark contrast is the difference between how the russians don’t, and Ukrainians do value their own. I have watched countless videos of them watching their comrades wounded and dying, and walk away without providing any sort of aid.

It seems absolutely clear that this fight is between two completely different and opposite ways of living. One is free, healthy, and prosperous…the other is none of those things. Ukraine will stay free and withstand this onslaught because they care about their people. This is a great example of how.
