Gutted that they aren’t at the North Run this year
Such a shame that they’re dying out because of the introduction of Grey Arrows.
They are the best
When I was little the Red Arrow did a 15 minutes or so display for my tiny village primary school, but they didn’t tell us about it so we were all very confused when we went out from lesson early. It just so happened to be on my birthday and I was absolutely convinced the school had hired it for me and me specifically because I was obviously the only person in the school that mattered. I also spent a good 5 minutes underwhelmed because there was a random Spitfire-looking plane that turned up first and did a few circles which I assumed was the Arrows until they turned up and became thoroughly amazed.
