This Morning’s nut allergy segment hit by 637 Ofcom complaints with Dermot forced to apologise

but if you don’t like peanuts don’t get on the plane either cuz I do and I can’t eat them because someone’s at the back of the plane is going to drop dead or something if I have a peanut I don’t quite know why so that’s my Airline oh where do I begin to start unpacking this uh quickly before we start yesterday there was a reference on the show to nut allergies in the Morning View apologies from us just wanted to reiterate we take those very seriously especially Dangerous Ones on the show so following on from stories this week of a family not being able to fly because of an allergy issue we’re going to be doing a special segment on it next week as well

  1. There’s no need to be so mean hearted about it. People with allergies don’t choose to be allergic. There’s nothing that they can do to stop it.
