O-VLD, if they’re SMART, will take up an opposition role. They got punished at the polls for a very lacking government, so if they just saunter back in like nothing happened, would push people even harder to extreme parties. Of course, MR COULD take up position saying “it’s both of us, or neither”, but they’d be smart not to risk/abuse their gained position too much.
So looking PURELY at seat distribution, I’d say N-VA, CD&V, Vooruit, with MR and Les Engagés is doable, that gives a majority of 82 seats, pretty comfy. If MR puts their foot down for Open VLD, and Vooruit for PS (same story as Open VLD, they REALLY should realize their place is in opposition this go around), you get to 105 seats, which could be an insanely strong government, but it’s not going to happen.

No way VLD is going into gov, if they do that next time they won’t get past the minimum vote

It depends on the negotiations.
Either it will happen, and state reform will be limited, or N-VA will up the price with state reform and they’ll need support from PS.
That would give them just the majority which isn’t enough to have a stable government.

BDW will prefer vooruit over OVLD so I assume it will depend on how badly MR wants their Flemish buddies with them
