  1. Durring the recent protests in Serbia many people got sued even tho they were not checked with id durring protests by a police officer or any authority, day after a video surfaced on internet with a girl holding a huawei device for face recognition. Huawei has connection with China gouverment but that doesn’t matter, what matters is that they can sell their product for other gouverments for their use.

  2. News like this make me wonder if China tries to look as suspicious as possible or just can’t accept not getting its way 100% of the time.

  3. They just sent a new ambassador with trade experience compared to the loud mount asshole that wasnt kicked out.

  4. We would have thought that we would have blocked every American company from operating in the EU after the scandal revealed by Snowden. In the end we got GDPR (lol). I can’t imagine what the US has been developing as a tool to spy on us for almost 10 years now.

  5. Straight from the USSR playbook once again. The Chinese already owns a substantial part of our renewable energy infrastructure and the exposure here with Huawei could potentially be dangerous long term due to the backdoor. China is still a rogue nation that doesn’t abide by international treaties and trade agreements just to enrich themselves and their domestic market. I don’t want to cancel China but keeping them at arms length is necessary for the entire EU.
