  1. The unspoken part is what’s most dangerous.

    Suicide how? Suicide doing what?

Any rhetorical device that links death with a political outcome is stochastic terrorism.

  2. There’s a reason to vote for Biden if I ever heard one.

  3. People listen to this man and take him seriously.

Think about that for a second, but not too long lest your brain melts.

  4. But he’s just joking, it’s totally acceptable to joke about suicide

    /S

  5. When are they handing out the kool-aid? Totally not a cult

  6. I attended this rally with my friend disguised as press. It was pretty bad. Lots of people passed out. Donald Trump just pointed at the guy and the guy agreed with suicide over biden. Frequently the audience chanted things from suicide over biden, to bullshit, to we want Trump. Totally not a cult. Many people were cheering and chanting xenophobic comments about the border. Many saying slurs.

  7. Greg Abbott said the same thing about old people dying from heat stroke rather than giving up “freedom?” in his failing state.

Pay attention people, they’re conditioning you to die for them.

  8. Well, at least they’re not pretending they’re not a cult anymore.

  9. (in tired Willy Wonka voice)”stop, don’t, come back…”

  10. cults never end well. you start out all happy and self righteous then your leader gives you an order, next thing you know youre in some circus tent with a bunch of loons drinkin flavorade, passin out and not wakin up

lol @ willy wonka quote, pretty much sums my feelings up.

  11. The less MAGA fanatics, the better off everyone will be

  12. Nobody voting for Donald Trump is doing so ashamedly. They are not fooled or gulled, they vote for him because they know exactly what he is: a living manifestation of privilege, ego, and hatred. In Trump, they see all of their bitter resentment to racial and gender equality shouted without consequence. These are the people who think “in good company” means people who approve of racial slurs and misogynist remarks.

There’s an absolutely astounding number of them, and I’ve never seen a stronger argument for a suicide cult.

  13. Cults often devolve into suicide. We have now entered MAGA’s Jim Jones at Jonestown phase.

  14. So like… I’m not saying it’d be a GOOD thing, but that’d certainly be one way to unfuck our politics in this country.

  15. As cold as it sounds, let them. These people have no problem inciting violence against others, so they should start with themselves first.

  16. Feb 19, 2017 – [Warning Signs](https://culteducation.com/warningsigns.html)

    >**Ten warning signs of a potentially unsafe group/leader.**

    >1. Absolute authoritarianism without meaningful accountability.
    * No tolerance for questions or critical inquiry.
    * No meaningful financial disclosure regarding budget, expenses such as an independently audited financial statement.
    * Unreasonable fear about the outside world, such as impending catastrophe, evil conspiracies and persecutions.
    * There is no legitimate reason to leave, former followers are always wrong in leaving, negative or even evil.
    * Former members often relate the same stories of abuse and reflect a similar pattern of grievances.
    * There are records, books, news articles, or television programs that document the abuses of the group/leader.
    * Followers feel they can never be “good enough”.
    * The group/leader is always right.
    * The group/leader is the exclusive means of knowing “truth” or receiving validation, no other process of discovery is really acceptable or credible.

    and

    >**Ten warning signs regarding people involved in/with a potentially unsafe group/leader.**

    >1. Extreme obsessiveness regarding the group/leader resulting in the exclusion of almost every practical consideration.
    * Individual identity, the group, the leader and/or God as distinct and separate categories of existence become increasingly blurred. Instead, in the follower’s mind these identities become substantially and increasingly fused–as that person’s involvement with the group/leader continues and deepens.
    * Whenever the group/leader is criticized or questioned it is characterized as “persecution”.
    * Uncharacteristically stilted and seemingly programmed conversation and mannerisms, cloning of the group/leader in personal behavior.
    * Dependency upon the group/leader for problem solving, solutions, and definitions without meaningful reflective thought. A seeming inability to think independently or analyze situations without group/leader involvement.
    * Hyperactivity centered on the group/leader agenda, which seems to supercede any personal goals or individual interests.
    * A dramatic loss of spontaneity and sense of humor.
    * Increasing isolation from family and old friends unless they demonstrate an interest in the group/leader.
    * Anything the group/leader does can be justified no matter how harsh or harmful.
    * Former followers are at best-considered negative or worse evil and under bad influences. They can not be trusted and personal contact is avoided.

  17. “You could shoot yourself in the middle of 5th Avenue, and Biden wouldn’t lose any voters!” is truly an odd flex…

  18. Biden’s already in office, though. Doesn’t that mean they’re past due for suicide?

  19. A good number of them already did during COVID by not getting vaccinated.

  20. Biden’s been President for three and half years now, what are they waiting for? Swallow a bullet, roll coal in your closed garage, spend the winter in Texas, buy a cybertruck, etc. It’s not like they don’t have options.
