Bayern have reached a total agreement with Jonathan Tah over a contract until 2029. Bayer Leverkusen have been informed that Tah wants to join Bayern. Negotiations between clubs expected to start soon [@Plettigoal]

    Tah was absolutly instrumental for Leverkusens backline and their defensive stability this season and if you cant see that than you might be taking more crack than I thought.

  16. I am whelmed. I don´t think he is better than any of our defenders. Last season was a freak accident and I don´t think that he will fullfil this promise for us next season.

  19. To be honest, Tah doesn’t sound spectacular but defense is more about fit and how well players play together instead of individual classs. Let’s give him a chance. Look at how good Dier is performing. Shouldn’t be to expensive with his contract running out and Leverkusen has to replace two good defendes with Stanisic and Tah, could be worse.

  34. Am I the only one that is pleased with this? Tah is solid and reliable. This is exactly the type of player we should be signing. He is an upgrade on Upa and will play an important role for us. Or CB options are really very strong now. De Ligt, Kim, Tah, Dier, Stani, Upa. Is there a team in the world with better depth in this position?

    Let’s see how he does in the Euros. His reputation and value may shoot up if we are successful. Personally out of Tah and Rudiger, Tah is the more reliable.

  37. Whether this transfer is good or bad will entirely depend on who we sell to make room for him. If we sell Kim I’m happy. If we sell Upa I’m sad. If we sell de Ligt I’m outraged.
