Russia-Ukraine War Update / June 10, 2024 / A Russian Evacuation from Crimea Soon?
hey guys Chris K and I’m Ukrainian Canadian today is June 10th 2024 and let’s get to the news and updates happening in Ukraine shall we so this is going to be very quick update I don’t have a presentation set up I didn’t have time to do it but there’s some things to cover because there’s a lot of things that happen overnight and the most important thing is Ukraine struck again Russian air defense systems in Crimea overnight and there’s three locations that was struck so that is genoi very important city very important hub for the Russians you can see that it connects um a lot of important routes from Crimea to the southern areas of Ukraine also chamor and also the saki Airbase was struck with Ukrainian uh ballistics the atacs that were provided by the United States now it’s been confirmed that the Russians lost two s300 air defense systems and they also lost their most modern one which is the S400 air defense system now this has been ongoing very often often very frequently last few weeks and months since uh the beginning of this year the ukrainians have been striking far more on the kemian peninsula and really targeting Russian air defense systems Radars and command centers and a as a result of that now this is still unconfirmed by but the atesh partisan movement which operates in Crimea indicates that as as a result of all these frequent attacks that we’ve been seeing especially since the ukrainians have uh received the green light to utilize attac camps on Crimea that Russia has ordered an evacuation of its servicemen uh that and the crew that is operating the air defense systems to the Southern military District so that is moving them from Crimea back to belgrad ROV and other um areas they’re more important for the Russians because we know that right now the ukrain are also playing a lot of pressure by striking Russian positions with high Mars missiles at Etc in belgrad specifically because they have uh so much more ability because there’s really no buffer zone that was built by the Russians here compared to other old blasts that have at least you know about 100 kilom of a buffer zone between the oblast and Ukrainian territory that is currently occupied by the Russians so they’re going to move apparently a lot of these Russian soldiers from Crimea to belgrad ROV varones ksk to be able to defend these areas because we know the ukrainians of course are utilizing long range drones to also strike refineries oil Depots Etc so it is very interesting we’ll see if this shift is indeed going to happen and it showcased that really the air defenses here in crem are now working and this will allow more opportunities for the ukrainians in the next few weeks to finally destroy the kurge bridge and speaking of the kurge bridge uh something that was quite surprising as well it was a picture that was released yesterday it indicated that the Russians have started using again the kurge bridge to transport uh supplies and fuel via the railway link that they have on the bridge meaning that the Russians are seriously hurt because of their losses their fairies and the landing ships that they’ve been losing in the last few months as well remember that a week ago the ukraines hit two very large uh fairies the conro trader and I believe the avanguard ferry very large imported fairies that Russians have been utilizing to transport uh these Goods to Crimea but now since they’ve lost the feries they’ve lost several Landing ships um and also report of yesterday it wasn’t a landing ship but it was a tugboat that was destroyed by the ukrainians even that is a huge loss for the Russians they need tugboats as well to be able to push uh the ships uh in the right direction and recover them as well if necessary so uh overall they’re seriously hurt and it’s very surprising to see that the Russians as you can see are still riing on the kurge bridge so it might be even more valuable than we previously thought because we saw articles mentioning that the Russians now have adapted they don’t need the Kur Bridge anymore but it appears that they really need it and it appears as well that this railing that they’ve been talking about that apparently is fully functional between ROV and Crimea isn’t as functional as we believed it to be and to be honest I haven’t seen a lot of videos or pictures from the Russian side which I think they would be pumping uh this these images and videos in the social media sphere to indicate look at us we’ve been able to build this new ra link we’re not dependent on the Kur Bridge you know we’re quick and we can adapt and I haven’t seen that so it it seems to indicate that indeed the Russians are still extremely reliant on uh the courage bridge to transport fuel armed Vehicles troops and even civilian traffic so um I’m really I think within the next few weeks we can certainly see this bridge go down without a doubt especially since the ukraines have weakened the Russian defenses so much here they’re not flying as much um on the creman peninsula on the seol they don’t have the s300 and S400 systems anymore um and it appears that most of their soldiers will be uh transferred elsewhere as well they’re crewmen that are working on these radar systems and defense systems so this sector will severely be weakened in the next few weeks which you know right now it really has been weakened but I think that it will really crumble for the Russians in terms of its defense of Crimea its air defense so overall this is great news and I can only hope that the Kur bridge will come down and as I’ve said my previous video yesterday this cannot be a small little section that is damaged like what we saw the last two years right Ukraine hid the bridge twice back in July of 2023 and then I believe in 2022 was in October uh where it did did a substantial damage to the bridge but it wasn’t like a massive span of the bridge collapsed this is what needs to happen this time a massive massive destruction of the bridge so the Russians simply will not be able to repair it I’m talking about at least 500 meters it would be even better if it goes further than that but I know that this is still a difficult task because the bridge is it’s a very solid structure and it will take a lot of resources to bring it down but I think that ukrainians are slowly strategically uh just removing any potential um defense that the Russians can mount against whatever the ukrain can throw this bridge so I think that next few weeks we will be in a situation where the ukrain can decisively destroy this bridge and we’ll never hear it uh we’ll never see it again it will be underwater so overall the situation is looking really good in Crimea um and again let’s not forget that this will be a huge morale and psychological will have a psychological effect on the Russians especially within Putin’s Circle right he had a certain Prestige by building this bridge and showcasing through the Russians that have linked Crimea to Russia losing this link even though they still have another alternative route is massive right they’ve put so many resources so much money building this bridge how much money was also funneled out by the Putin regime to build this billions of dollars dozens of billions of dollars and even in the repair of the bridge it probably cost them a lot of money as well only to see this bridge finally come down this is a huge loss once it will happen it will be massive massive loss for the Putin regime and also a huge morale boost for the ukrainians so let’s not discount that either uh a couple more news before I end this video I told you it would be quick one more update in Su and there’s some sort of panic in the afternoon yesterday because kadirov and his Tik Tok Battalion started uh posting fake news about essentially the Russians capturing a village in Su between the border with Russia and Ukraine uh and you know the news spread like white wildfire that the Russians have started a new front and that is here north of the sume the city of su in Chino as you can see the Russians claim that they’ve taken the village of Rifka uh all that to say that in that was a lie and actually the ukrainians confirmed that they they eliminated a sabotage group a Russian sabotage group that crossed uh the border with about 20 to 30 men so about a unit a squad Russian soldiers that enter the border illegally and as a result of that they were eliminated by Ukrainian snipers so um again we need to be very careful because this is indeed a up operation by the Russians they’re very good at that they’re very good at Spreading the News like wildfire and saying look at they’re ukrainians they can’t control the Border uh to such a point that even Rutters um you know wrote an article about how the Russians now are have taken rivka we need to be very careful with announcements whether it be on the Russian side and also Ukrainian side so as I tell you guys we need to be levelheaded here but it’s good to see that the ukrainians are able uh even you know as you can see Rifka and this front is pretty far away from where the Russians um began their har offensive a month ago so you can see the Russians have some tricks in their back but the ukrainians are able to also defend uh the Border even if it’s much further away uh where the Russians initially started their offensive we’re expecting something closer to the city of su maybe a little bit north of KH but you can see that they they simply cannot um create that second offensive that the Russians wanted in suum the ukrainians now have the weapons and the green light from the United States to Shag the staging areas that Russia could be currently building up to try to mount some sort of offensive but they just simply can’t they lost uh that opportunity in my opinion that is not to say that it can’t happen right but I think that as the ukrainians uh get the tools they have received the green light as well I think they will be able to better fend off these Russian incursions and it certainly will take more than 30 soldiers uh to take uh massive territory in Ukraine and start a new offensive so this is not something that we simply cannot it will take us by surprise even if it’s 500 men or 1,000 Russian soldiers building up right the by the border this is very visible the ukrain are flying drones everywhere their satellite imagery don’t you even think that you know the United States is providing realtime Intel to the ukrainians and the ukrainians know exactly who they’re Russians are building up um you know not saying that it’s perfect but I think that at this stage you know the surprise element can will be lost has been lost by the Russians and last but not least some other good news and that is in the northern um Fleet of Russia in the baron sea apparently a Russian ship is on fire right now and that is the Admiral levchenko it’s anti-submarine ship very big ship um of course it’s not as big as the mosa but it’s a quite large ship probably worth dozens if not hundred million dollar plus I didn’t look the value of the the ship but apparently it’s on fire it’s been confirmed by Pro Russian channels um and so it’s good to see that the Russian uh you know Fleet is decommissioning itself right and so much about power projection how the Russians created the solution of a massive big powerful military only to find you know half of their ships underwater or on fire right now and never been able to repair them so again this is great news this also will reduce the Threat Level and Russia’s presence in the Baltic Sea and in the north of uh the baltics really important because we know the Russians and we’ve talked about it in the past even though we might think that the Russians you know they’re a joke let’s not underestimate them I’m still you know very uh I want to put an emphasis on that by saying that the Russians even even though they don’t have the technology anymore they don’t have uh you know this this illusion that they’re massive you know bare uh military Monster uh they have millions of people that are willing to die and we’ve seen the attitude that Russia has on human life there is none and they will throw men and millions of them if they have to to achieve goals and that is something that the West again needs to be prepared at understanding uh that even if we’re technologically Superior or Advanced the Russi don’t mind throwing let’s say million bodies in the baltics to take some territory for them that’s a win right they Advanced uh so it’s really important to realize that and be prepared for anything because we cannot underestimate underestimate the Russian Insanity right we’ve seen the last two and a half years that the Russians will commit to some of the most insane uh moves the only thing that I think that they will refrain uh from doing is you using nuclear weapons because that will directly impact them uh if they use them in Ukraine where else they use them right and I will tell you that this is an entire know Ukraine has called out Russia’s Bluff when when it comes to nuclear weapons right Russia’s threaten left and right if you do this we’ll use nukes if you do that we’ll use nukes and Ukraine has completely demasked uh the Kremlin they’ve attacked everything that there is to attack in Russia and nothing has occurred even to this point and now over two weeks the ukraines are striking with American weapons on Russian soil and nothing is going on that shows you that the Kremlin is afraid of uh really escalating as they say the situation with the United States and nobody here is talking about you know uh going to Moscow right it’s all about retaking their Ukraine territory uh that was agreed upon after 1991 that’s it nobody’s talking about marching to Moscow or taking Russian territory this is a possible scenario but it will take a lot of resources as I told you right now realistically I cannot see the ukrainians themselves being ble to retake donbas as I’ve said as well I really believe that Ukraine once it will be able to mount a counter offensive they will have to double down and attack again in the southern sector because the Russians if they’re pushed by the to the isol seat they have nowhere to go and this will create uh you know a massive Gap it will break this land bridge that the Russians have between ROV and Crimea and this sector especially with Crimea and the kurage bridge being cut off here and cut off somewhere between mop marole right if the Ukraine mount an attack again in the robotin sector other sectors here the Russians are stuck here this will be such a massive blow and again the ukraines do have a bridge head here in Kon it’s not great I’m not saying that they will be able to transfer equipment from the right Bank To the Left Bank but there’s a lot of conditions that will be favorable to a good um counter offensive on Ukraine side especially once they have the f-16s especially as we know the Ukraine’s now have have the green light to use atams ballistics uh and have been rearmed I think that this is possible again it’s conditional there’s a lot of factors the war is dynamic so that doesn’t mean it’s going to happen next year or it will happen but I think that this would be the sound strategy for Ukraine that’s my opinion you guys can let me know what you think that’s my personal opinion and uh you know I trust the decision making process in the Ukraine military so they’ll do what’s best but I think that you know doubling down here wouldn’t be that out of an idea because donbas it’s hard right because even if the ukrain push the Russians uh out of donat city and go further and further there’s still Russia behind right they still have this massive border and the Russians simply can push and move more troops um and losing the southern sector would be a huge psychological um and morale blow for the Russians to the point that we could see what we saw back in September 2022 where uh the Putin regime was questioned heavily by the Russians there was sense of panic I remember September when the ukrain did the great KH counter offensive and also were heading to um take back hon City there was a sense of Doom for the Russians um and that you know they they were just scrambling to find new ideas so I think that this could be even worse this time because losing this land bridge losing access to Crimea as well right because if the courage bridge is destroyed the only access the Russians will have will be by air and Maritime Waters so again it’s it’s not as uh they won’t be able to resupply Crimea as much um if they still had the railway link so I think you know all the conditions here are present for successful Ukraine counter offensive once they have been rearmed fully they have air superiority or some sort of um technological Edge in terms of the Air Force on the Russians and I think the ukra right now are just working on tiring the Russians uh trying to defend and really destroy the Russian capabilities of Defending themselves um with the air defense systems most importantly and also destroying the artillery so that’s a long update but kind of short update as well I know uh we talked a lot about Crimea the map updates some good news coming out of Crimea and in suum and also in the baltics so you can let me know what you think about any of the topics that are covered today a huge thing you again for your subscription and uh supporting this Channel and if you haven’t subscribed please subscribe to my channel like my video and I will see you guys in the next one slav

Ukraine is softening up Crimea, there's talks of a potential amphibious landing, and Russia actually evacuates these troops to support their lost cause in Kharkiv? Freaking PERFECT.
Poor Orcs, summer is coming and their going to leave the beach.
Let them come. Only by sending a million or so Russians to see Jesus, will their imperial mindset be changed.
Losing Kherson would allow UA to flank the RU left.
Sorry of it looks like I spam, but seems I have been shadow banned.

I’m surprised Russians can still drive vehicles when all their oil depots are burning.
Surprised to hear you making a false equivalency of caution about news released by the Russians or the Ukrainians. I am not saying that Ukrainians never released false info, but it's nowhere close to what Russia is doing. With Russia it is like with Trump, lying is the default mode. They say truthful things in the same way a broken clock gives the right time twice a day. I remember that every news outlets since the beginning of the war were giving no credit to Russians casualties numbers given by Ukraine every day. Stating they were inflated. Now the UK is confirming the Ukrainian estimation, France has a higher number, and Germany a much higher number. Two weeks ago Germany said Russia had 24,000 casualties on average per month since the beginning of the war. That's 650,000 dead and seriously wounded. So Ukraine with their 520,000 casualties were finally the conservative ones.
Fussia is rucked, Futin is pucked!
Little Vladimir is like the bully that came into the pub harassing and taunting everyone…and is now face-down on the sidewalk bleeding and missing a few teeth!
Chris, the Russians have largely removed their air force and navy from Crimea for awhile. Those Russian air defenses were largely defending supplies and infantry units. They may have some smaller air units in Southeast Crimea out of missile range. The attack on the Su-57s was a more attractive target. I saw on another pro-Ukranian podcast that the Russians have many of their fighters located there. The Rostov on Don to Crimea railroad doesn't seems able to supply Crimea. Destroying the Kerch Bridge could easily starve out Crimea in time. The Russians would have to reduce the Crimea population or slowly starve. I don't think Ukraine has the resources for a large attack on Crimea. Crimea will become probably a military backwater region with less significance.
Well done. Good report.
If the big Nato states US , GERMANY , FRANCE, SPAIN AND UK had really got behind
Ukraine with the last two.years , Russia would probably be pushed out of ukraine, The big Nato states starved ukraime of real weapons like planes ATCMS etc they have caused a lot innocent ukrainen lives
I don't agree with the need to take out a big section of the bridge. They need to disable it asap and shouldn't delay just to make the repair take longer.
Putin is Doomed
