  4. Nah. They are likely to expand Kherson Oblast battle line and cross over the Dnipro River. I doubt it would be toward Dniester Estuary to relieve Transnistrian Russians from Moldova for a standoff with Moldova.

  10. Much of Herson region in the South is now back in Russian hands…as Zelensky's limited military resources went up North.
    Odessa is the natural target, now.
    Actually, all of Ukraine must come back to Mother Russia. And it definitely will be All Russian again.

  11. People in the west are not aware that the Russian Federation Navy has the largest submarine fleet and the largest nuclear armed and powered submarine fleet. The destroyer fleet isn't too far behind. The Russian Navy doesn't believe in aircraft carriers..as these are colonial instruments, and are so easily sank.
    Furthermore, the Russian Federation Navy is considered to be one of the highest quality professional and disciplined Navies.

  19. If you look at the attack patterns a landing operation in Odessa was always seen as possibility. The US destroyed with the help of their drones systematically landing ships. The harassment of the Black Sea fleet make now much more sense.

  21. IF they could pull this off, it could be like another Inchon Landing moment during the Korean War, where they outflank and unhinge the entire defense front.
    Or…it could be another Anzio, where the amphibious force gets stuck in a shallow foothold.

    It could also be a feint.
