Honestly these owners need to just shut the fuck up, all of them.
He’s right but it will never change as 14 clubs will never support the change as most of the league are just happy not being relegated
I’m so fucking bored of this finance chat.
Imagine complaining that you can only lose (over a period of 3 years) 3.5 times the record transfer of this year’s champions league runner up.
If they can’t cope up with premier leagues psr, who would they cope up with uefas?
So a club threaten to compete with the status quo and may have to sell star players potentially to said status quo teams.
They’re not even trying to hide the true reasons for these ‘rules’ anymore.
I know a lot of these comments are going to be about the specific meat of the article but it’s interesting that Villas owners seem actually prepared to spend big if it means keeping Vila in the European conversation. As great as Emery as been you also can’t deny that Villa have pulled off some insane signings these past couple years (Torres, Diaby) and I genuinely wouldn’t be shocked to see them at the level of like a pre Covid Leicester going forward
The rules are all wrong Villa £0.00 debt must sell players. Man Utd £500m plus in debt doesn’t.
