Russia is playing these little mind games and one of these times it’s certainly not going to turn out well for them. I have a feeling the next time they breach NATO airspace, even for only two minutes, they’re going to get their asses handed to them and that jet will be obliterated.
Then of course, russian propaganda will come out with some ridiculous fabrication of how they didn’t breach anyone’s airspace, even though it will have been detected by radar and absolutely confirmed, and therefore they will start shooting down NATO planes close to their airspace….which will ultimately be the fuck up that does them in.
It should have been shot down. Someone messed up.
Shoot it down like Turkey did some years ago. That s not complicated, just do it.
That pic is an SU-57 Felon, the article doesn’t mention the type which is almost certainly not going to be an SU-57 as they are too valuable to risk against modern air defences, given their limited stealth…
It’s absolutely insane Finland was allowed to join NATO. At the end of the Cold War, America promised Russia that no further countries to the East would join, but of course having a common enemy was too convenient for Western neoliberal leaders to resist. Otherwise, their people might start talking about how badly they’re all governing.
The West could secure a full Russian withdrawal tomorrow by agreeing to disband NATO, a destructive and useless organization whose mandate expired 33 years ago.

I don’t like to under-estimate any one or any group (terrorists, dictators, etc….), but I have to say that Putin has made one miscalculation after another.
Asking his pilots to intentionally violate NATO airspace is yet another miscalculation that can evolve into a blunder.
It seems like he thinks there is still a Soviet Union and that it has nearly limitless supplies of arms, ammunition and people at his disposal. Russia is **not** the Soviet Union, it doesn’t not have the resources or industry or stockpiles.
Shoot it and down and now Finland is a nato country and we all know what happens then if Russia attacks
