I don’t see a problem with how these companies are using different pricing on apps vs in store, loyalty programs, credit vs cash, etc. as long as they’re not discriminating intentionally against consumers of a protected class it’s just up to the consumer to know how to get the best deal.
No different than buying a car cash vs credit. Anyone who’s bought a car or two or done their research knows there’s a difference. We’re just seeing these types of things pop up in new ways for new industries.
