LOL yesterday i read the opposite might happen in an article. Nice.
Not a fan anymore of the center left and S&D in general – however that’s a pan-European issue – but I hope they can prove us wrong in at least some aspects.
What does this mean for Portugal? What kind of policies do they stand for?
Who votes for the PS? Old people?
BE and CDU played themselves.
I swear just yesterday I heard that the far right were rising in Portugal?
So everyone is talking about the rise of the far right in Portugal and it became news everywhere. But it seems like they’re still very small (even tough they’ve increased seats, they still don’t look important at all) and nothing compared to the far right in for example the Netherlands
“Center left”
No such thing
A warning: Most Portuguese redditors are not representative of most Portuguese.

So what kind of policies can you look forward to? What promises did they make? I’m especially interested in the economic side, social policies are too country-specific for an outsider to understand IMO.
People complain alot but they keep voting for the same people all the time…
do young progressives vote for PS? Because looking at the comments it seems that PS is exclusively pensioners party
So no Volt?
Holy shit you just don’t see blow outs like this in Europe anymore. Congrats
Well now we fucked up…
Sad day for Portugal
Guess those emigration rates for the young and educated are going to stay high, and the population pyramid inversion is only going to get more severe. Portugal firmly into Eastern Europe.
