34. The US forces flew from France and had already completed their border formalities; no check was required for the Belgians as EU citizens. The law is the law, that's what happens since Brexit. The soldiers concerned we're already aware and had their passports ready.

38. This is normal. UK Soldiers always show their passport when landing in another country in exercise. The diffrerence now is the passport must be stamped also.
