  1. After hiring Kompany , these are the decisions we have made ,

    1.Sell de Ligt

    2.Keep Upamecano

    3.Keep Davies

    4.Buy Palhinha

    5.Sell Kimmich

    6.Buy Tah

I was kind of excited to sign him , he was not an experienced manager yet someone who could prove their worth but these transfer decisions have made me lose any hope I had for our coming season. Won’t be surprised if we play in UEL next season .

  2. So what’s the plan now? We are hoping Leverkusen won’t break and be stubborn about 45 milion so we will go back? Because that sounds solid

  3. We are really just 2-3 unlucky injuries to injury prone players away from:

    Boey – Tah – Dier – Davies

    Goretzka – Palhinha

    Sane Müller Fürich

    Kane

This could be an ugly year

  4. It’s so insane to me how upset people in here get based on rumours and the media stirring up some shit. Nobody knows what’s happening behind the scenes, stop trusting pletti and all the other guys making shit up for clicks all the time

  5. All the doomposting is not fazing me. Im excited for next season with Kompany at the wheel, let’s gooo

  6. I have a new theory. Pletti is mad that he doesn’t have a mole within the club anymore so by spreading those rumors, he is trying to pressure the club by causing unrest within the fanbase. I see what you’re doing Pletti.

  7. Everyone needs to take a breath now, remember how nice it was talking about Xavi Simons? Let’s just think for a second, maybe the board isn’t the smartest yes, but they still aren’t stupid. They probably don’t plan on selling De Ligt or Kimmich, especially not for less than what they are worth. So I think everyone should stop saying Bayern is doomed and that we are the new Man United or Chelsea. Just calm down.

  8. >Bayern will improve their initial bid of €35m for João Palhinha. New bid could be sent to Fulham today. Palhinha wants to join Bayern [

  9. >EXCLUSIVE | Assan Ouedraogo has decided to join RB Leipzig!

    >Last details between the player’s
camp, Leipzig and Schalke about a permanent deal of the 18 y/o top talent will be clarified now

    >Contract until 2029. RB will trigger the release clause of around €10m

    >Currently, the plan is for Leipzig to keep Ouedraogo initially and assess him during the summer preparation. A decision about a loan-back to S04 could be made late in the transfer window.

    >Newcastle, Frankfurt, Chelsea and more teams were pushing for Ouedraogo in the last hours. But RB now close to finalize the deal.

  10. It’s the lack of creativity that bothers me

Palhinha and Tah are fine players but are they players who will upgrade our Starting XI? Are they “dominant possession system” players?

And I don’t care about the outgoing rumours as much as some others but it’s surprising to hear Kompany has been given the latitude to retain Davies and Upamecano. If any players failed the “should we keep you?” test last year it is them two.

  11. After thinking about it with a more cool mind, I guess Tah is only being brought in as a backup. There was no way we would have kept both Kim and de Ligt anyway, and with Kim’s speed and slightly better passing, he was the one to keep (regardless of his blunders this year). The cheaper Tah thus makes sense to have as a backup.

Upa will be paired up with Kim, but Upa will have to play on LCB. This will probably cause the same problem as what we faced with Dier this year, what with opponents making him a pressing target as he was on his weak foot. Dier remained calm, but I am not sure Upa will be able to handle such pressure.

Need a left-footed ball-playing CB in for sure.

  12. I predict that it will take only half a season for Kompany to be exposed aa a fraud .

  13. Yesterday’s news regarding the board wanting to trim our wage bill made me curious. So i asked ChatGPT, based on Capology Data, to give me a short analysis of how the top end of our wage bill compares to City and Real…

    ### Analysis of the Top Two Wage Segments:

    #### Players Earning between €15 Million and €20 Million:

**Total Number of Players in this Segment:**
    – FC Bayern: 5
    – Real Madrid: 2
    – Man City: 3

**Total Wage Bill for this Segment:**
    – FC Bayern: €89,370,000
    – Real Madrid: €31,767,000
    – Man City: €51,359,728

    #### Players Earning Above €20 Million:
**Total Number of Players in this Segment:**
    – FC Bayern: 4
    – Real Madrid: 5
    – Man City: 2

**Total Wage Bill for this Segment:**
    – FC Bayern: €86,500,000
    – Real Madrid: €110,420,000
    – Man City: €46,827,988

    ### Combined Total Wage Bill for Both Segments:

    – **FC Bayern:** €175,870,000
    – **Real Madrid:** €142,187,000
    – **Man City:** €98,187,716

  14. **Gnabry** played about 20% of available minutes last year. **Coman** played about 40%.

There might be a soft market for Coman out there, given his CV and his being a French international, but Gnabry isn’t going anywhere. Maybe a wealthy English club would consider to sign Coman but even assuming he would go there, his wages are not justifiable for the likes of Aston Villa and Spurs.

  15. From all the shitty rumor’s it’s safe to assume that maybe the club is secretly bankrupt or something and no one knows/s

  16. I really don’t get how our board thinks cutting the wages in one transfer window is a smart idea. A lot of wages will be freed up once Müller and Neuer retire. Then make it top priority to sell coman, gnabry and goretzka. They all earn at least close to 20Mio a year. And you shouldn’t expect Eberl to unfuck the bad work of the last season in one season without weakening the squad. Selling our best CB because he was good and „has a market“ is just insanity.

  17. I really wonder what Goretzka is thinking. He won’t play a role in Kompany‘s plan. He was desperate to get to the National Team but then he turns around and doesn’t want to leave when he will sit on the bench every game?

    What is his thought process?

  18. You guys might listen the new podcast of süddeutsche Zeitung with Max Eberl on spotify . good insights

  19. Can someone explain to me, why we suddenly are in such a need to reduce the wages and why we seem to have such financial problems.

Aren’t we one of the best run clubs financial wise. Every year (even while the COVID years) we make a plus.

What happened? Serious questions not a rant.

  20. If somehow, our board sells players this season to bring in world class players next season, how would you react to it?

Because honestly I think they are planning for big moves.. possibly Wirtz for next season
