[HELP] My band dropped an album last Friday and this guy is doing a review of it in Finnish, can anyone help me translate it to English? I would love to know what is he saying.

  1. 2/5 he says you can listen but not the best. Sorry :/ but some songs he compared to Arc enemy so it is good I suppose…

  2. He didn’t really say anything, but ”pretty good” and ”pretty ok” all the time. I’m a musician also and this review is totally worthless to you.

  3. A very interesting band.. from Portugal, they play progressive melodic deathmetal, they began playing in 2018. This is their first full album, named “From the ground up”. It has 11 songs in it. The first one is called “The first taste”. Melodeath.. nice to listen, better than average. The second song “No enemies, no hatred”. Nothing sounds like copying, style is very original, very good solos, the guys play pretty damn well even if they’re from Portugal (yes, he said it). I don’t know any others from Portugal apart from Moonspell. Anyway it’s a good song. Third one is “Lioness”, it’s a little over 4 minutes, almost 5 minutes long.. this one sounded pretty average to me, let’s say I’ve heard better ones too. Then this fourth song is (incomprehensible pronouncing). It’s an instrumental piece so it’s a little different. The fifth is “The worship to Mammon(?)”. It’s slow but in the end it “bangs” quite well. I could compare this to Arc enemy, Insomnium, Catherum.. if we mixed those, we could get the style for this band from somewhere between those. The sixth one is “Unbreakable”, it’s a slow but good song. The seventh piece is “Sacahari” (or Sakahari?). Pretty typical melodeath piece, guitars, drums, all work fairly well. The eighth one is “Wicked shadow”, that one is very progressive, but still a progressive melodeath piece. The ninth is “Dead hope” This one has brilliant solos, very well played. This whole album is somewhat above average actually. The tenth is “Vrugal”, solos are well played.. I don’t know what else to say but the “bang” is very interesting. The last one is “Voldet”(?) It’s a very confusing song, it’s the weirdest song in this album. Sadly I will have to be brutal and rate this 2/5 because I simply couldn’t.. But they were Bhoot, from Portugal, “From the ground up”. I have listened to this whole album.. go and have a listen. It’s average but didn’t bring my mood up very much. Thank you.

  4. I think he said better than average at the beginning and then gave 2/5 as a total score 😅 Also I got the feeling that he is not a fan of melodic death metal. So go figure.
You got a record made so congrats on that 🙂
