Please name the person who decided to send debt collectors after cancer patients. What is wrong with these people?
Having recently dealt with this illness in my family, I’d f*cking love to get a call like this – chance to rip the head off somebody.

It should be absolutely free (imo at least) but I don’t understand the “conservative estimate” of cancer care of close to a grand per month. The €80 inpatient charges cap out at a total of €800 for any 12-month period (and are free for medical card holders). Are they factoring in like missing work or something?
I’m not saying that this doesn’t happen, because it obviously does. But I always am surprised when I hear cancer patients get charged for this stuff because, as a cancer patient, I’ve never been charged for anything in over 2 years.
