Shut down at least minimum, but people’s anger shouldn’t go away so easily, it’s going to end up like the Greyhound investigation where no real regulation or reform comes from it, just a bit of tabloid frenzy and then business as usual after a few months.
There were protests here in 1989. Money talks. Ask why the vets on site, and 100 feet from the livery, didn’t know what was going on. 💰

So, i would guess no because our racing, equestrian and equine breeding industries aren’t going away.
We need unannounced audits a couple of times per year to ensure that the industry is compliant. Closing a plant is just kicking the can down the road. The next crowd will be at the same thing without any oversight.
Rather hillarious in a dark form in that its the horse industry supporting this abattoir in the first place. Acting completely innocent buying and selling horses and being fully aware whats actually happening.
I’d imagine a decent majority would support stopping funding for horses and greyhounds.
