  1. Because Hollywood really cares what Geena Davis has to say.

  2. The second her body is in the ground they’ll release a remake “in honor” of her.

  3. It doesn’t need to be, because their problems have never stopped being problems for women

  4. absolutely correct..don’t f—- with perfection

  5. If y’all ain’t never seen *Thoroughbreds* check it out. That felt like that closest and is very original

  6. That was one of those movies I caught late one night on cable, no idea what it was about, and left me completely floored. Amazing beautiful and tragic all at the same time. That last scene will be etched in my memory for the rest of my life.

  7. In other news Amazon announces the remake of “Thelma and Louis” starring Sydney Sweeney and Awkwafina.

  8. Don’t remake The Long Kiss Goodnight either. I bet it will happen though.

  9. What about cheap prequels and sequels?

    Thelma and Louise Origins?

The Rise of Thelma and Louise?

Thelma and Louise 2, where Louise just dreamed the drive by over the cliff, and they’re actually alive? Actually one of them is alive, and she helps the other one’s daughter as the CIA has enlisted them to save the world from a group of Russian terrorists threatening to destroy the world.

The cash grab opportunities are endless.

  10. But, but, we (Hollywood) haven’t had an original idea in years!

  11. Most movies should never be remade, just add it to the list

  12. I’m just here to say Geena Davis is so damn gorgeous.

  13. Just imagine how cringe a modern production could make this masterpiece.
