  1. Sad, but this will only strengthen his support among Republicans

  2. There it is. It was only a matter of time before it made print. And we’re so conditioned to his absurd behavior that a headline like this, that would result in anyone else being ran out of town with torches and pitchforks, now just seems like another “Yep, that’s Trump. The criminal scumbag” headline.

    This is infuriating and depressing.

  3. If Trump wins a second time there won’t be anybody trying to be the adult in the room it will be a crackpot cabinet think idiocracy married to handmaiden’s tale.

  4. Trump’s second run? More like horror sequel nobody asked for. Brace yourselves, folks

  5. Metaphorically throwing staffers under the Trump bus   ❌

    Literally executing them   ✅

  6. Trump did execute 13 people. He would have killed more, but he ran out of time on Jan. 20, 2021 when Biden threw him out of the White House.

  7. He probably thinks “executive branch” means “branch that can execute people”

  8. “and I was totally cool with that at the time, which is why I said nothing until 4 years later.”

  9. If Trump wins, he’ll act like he never has to worry about another election or losing power for the rest of his life.

  10. People should also remember, in the final 6 months of Trump’s presidency, his administration carried out 13 federal executions. These were the first federal executions carried out since March 18th **2003**, under the George W. Bush administration.

Don’t get me wrong, that list of 13 people is tough to even read through, because their rap sheets are true evil. My reasoning for this comment isn’t to argue for or against the death penalty; it’s to show what those executions illustrate about Trump’s mind. One execution in particular.

Brandon Bernard was convicted of first degree murder for robbing, kidnapping, and killing two youth pastors in Texas. While trying to appeal, due to concerns about court proceedings, evidence, and his own representation, lawyers Alan Dershowitz and Kenneth Starr asked Trump to delay the execution for two weeks, so that they could work on the appeal. Trump denied, on the reason that he had *already promised the family of the victims that he would die.*

This is why I mention it. Not only did a lame-duck President decide to show his strength by ordering an unprecedented number of executions in his final months, he refused to follow advice from people he trusts, because *doing so would make him look bad.*

Trump’s own lawyers essentially told him, “This guy has a case to have his sentence commuted to life and even the prosecutors and the jurors who convicted him agree.”

That wasn’t enough to convince him to delay even 2 weeks, because he had *promised*.

Trump will ignore the facts, ignore the experts, and ignore reason, if it makes him look even a little bit weak.

Humility is not a word in his vocabulary… *and he knows all the best words.*

    *(*Edit: clarification)*

  11. Oh, he’ll follow his buddies…Putin and Dear Leader Kim

  12. Of course he did. He’s a complete piece of shit who has not empathy. People he doesn’t like or who say mean things about him can just die and he wouldn’t care. He will unbelievably dangerous and unhinged if he wins.

  13. If it was in White House meetings, won’t the comments be on record?
