  1. Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong. Seems like federal poverty level is based on multiplying price inflation each year since 1983. So bases on this, this year’s federal level is 14,880 (2023) x 1.041 (inflation) = 15,490 (2024 poverty level.     So if housing or gas prices is higher than price inflation, it is not counted for?

  2. America isn’t interested in Fixing poverty because the system is working just as intended.

    Those in power know that majority of the country is severely underpaid. They know the COL is has drastically increased. They also know what needs to done to fix it but….

    They just don’t care! They’re comfortable and paid handsomely to keep the system running as is.

    Those in power aren’t ignorant they’re just corrupt. They feign ignorance to cover up their complicity.
