Actually, if anyone should be investigated it’s my 86 year old mother and her similarly aged friends. All through lockdown they continued meeting as a group in each others’ homes for embroidery club, flower club, knitting club, their birthdays and frequent lunches. To be honest, I wouldn’t be surprised to hear she’d driven down from Staffordshire to gate-crash one of Boris’ parties and fill her handbag with cakes.
