“Conditions are very simple”: Putin outlines demands for Ukraine ceasefire

President Vladimir Putin says that Russia would halt military operations and enter peace talks if Ukraine dropped its NATO ambitions and withdrew its forces from four Ukrainian regions claimed by Moscow.

On the eve of a peace conference in Switzerland to which Russia has not been invited, Putin set out a series of conditions wholly at odds with the terms demanded by Ukraine.

Russia controls nearly a fifth of Ukrainian territory in the third year of the conflict. Ukraine says peace can only be based on a full withdrawal of Russian forces and the restoration of its territorial integrity.

The ceasefire proposal from Russian President Vladimir Putin is an ultimatum which cannot be trusted, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said on Friday.

“These are ultimatum messages that are no different from messages from the past,” the Ukrainian leader said.

President Putin and especially his FM lavrov talk too much which nobody has patience to hear let alone listen.their verbosity bores people to death and in his verbosity are promises and redlines which Putin never observed which increases the confidence of his Anglo enemy to dare challenge him at every step.his 600 billion dollars is openly robbed and he has not attacked yet the mastermind of Ukraine war which is England. Putin has proved himself to be a weak leader since end of Sochi olympics-all his decisions have been in reaction to Anglos' machinations rather than his own initiative to destroy enemies of Russia for which he has to utterly destroy England to pulp .

  46. Ceasefire is another way to immobilise arms and soldiers it's not an end to war this is used in many conflicts.He should be saying come to the table not be giving demands
