  1. Quibble: 88/100 casualties isn’t decimation. That’s closer to nonagenation. Definitely over octogenation. Decimation is 1 in 10, no more. No less.

    His unit had been decimated, he said, with only 12 out of 100 soldiers still alive as they came under constant Ukrainian fire and drones in Vovchansk, a prime target of Russia’s advances.

  2. Ah, so this makes sense Russia’s personal interest rates are so high. Get people into debt, give them no choice but to go to war.
