    Was it not masked Serbian thugs who had stolen and brandished English football paraphernalia online earlier with threats against English football supporters?

    Is it not Serbia that has violent football gangs such as ‘The Gravediggers’ and ‘Head Hunters’ which have been linked to organised crime groups accused of carrying out rapes, kidnappings and murder?

    English football fans are comparatively placid to those types.

  23. For a sport that’s called the beautiful game, football sure has the worst fanbases. This is valid for many a country – and before people start saying typical English, Serbs in general are quite the hooligan type as well.
