🔴 Ukraine War Update – Bradley Keeps Destroying Russian Armor • Russia Advances Despite Losses
hello and welcome to a new Ukraine war update it has been quite some time since the last update but I am back and this time with a documentary link video a quick disclaimer this is a cut version the full over 1 hour and 10 minute long version is available on my private telegram Channel or my coffee page in exchange for a coffee the link is in the description this time I aimed even more for high educational documentary and scientific value if you appreciate the effort I put into this video please show your support with a like and comment it really helps me out of lot thank you while Ukraine’s Western partners with debating whether to send Western troops to Ukraine shoot down Russian missiles over Ukrainian air space or allow Ukrainian forces to Target Russian territory with Western weapons Russia opened up a new front in the chov region and launched a new offensive de while definitely not a surprise still caught the Ukrainian Defenders a little bit off guard this allowed Russia to occupy several towns and about 173 square kilm of Ukrainian territory bordering Russia’s belgorod region from the looks of it the recent offense actions by Russia in the Chate Direction serve several purposes at once one would be an attempt to overstretch the front line for Ukraine which has been shot on Manpower for several months now at least when it comes to troops and direct combat roles Russia’s operations are also an attempt to divert Ukrainian resources and attention from other main conflict areas particularly in the donet region where Russia still concentrates its main effort the move complicates Ukraine’s ability to concentrate its new Western Aid effectively while further trying to degrade Ukraine’s Arm Forces as much as possible all this of course while seizing as much territory as possible Russia on their side said that for now the offensive main goal was not so much to capture the city of chab itself but to create a buffer zone within Ukrainian territory according to Russia this is aimed at reducing crossb attacks from Ukraine into Russia’s belgaro region I for my part however think that Russia at least also tried to create a base for possible future operations aiming at chakov even if Western analysts concluded that Russia currently lacks the troops to capture a city of that size however there are also reports that Russia may already is preparing another offensive aim towards chakov so the situation needs further observation for now Ukraine seems to have been able to stabilize the front and Russia has not been able to make any new major gains in recent days based on geolocated footage it appears that the city of wans has currently become Russia’s main focus in the area Russia managed to capture a large part of it and clashes are currently ongoing the town has been heavily shelled leading to widespread destruction of infrastructure and civilian homes it has been reported that over 11,000 people have been evacuated from the chakov region including many from vchan as they seek safety from the ongoing combat operations another overlooked aspect of Russia’s current offensive actions in that direction is that it at least partially sned French president macron who said France should not rule out the deployment of troops to Ukraine if either Odesa or chakov were at risk of falling well while I currently do not see chakov at risk of falling Russia’s actions could still be seen by some as direct response to macron’s words and a message not so much directed at France but at countries in the global cell especially Africa comes into my mind here since both Russia and also France are currently engaged in the shadow War over influence there while this is only a potential side effect the possibility of this is still worth mentioning in my eyes ironically a lot of footage from the defense of vens was released by the Russian volunteer Corp a group of Russians fighting for Ukraine you might remember that they are the ones responsible for all the crossb raids into Russia footage released from the battle by the Ukrainian 8C Air Assault Brigade CH a US supplied striker in urban combat with Russian forces inside the city the striker engages Russian positions with its heavy machine gun while a Ukrainian Soldier fights from it as well while being mounted on the vehicle we can see him firing a rocket that could be from a thermobaric rocket launcher but I am not sure shortly after the striker pops smoke and pulls back while the quality of the footage is not that high the clip is still one of the very few examples showing the striker in combat in this theater so far another of the few examples showing the striker in action in Ukraine would be this video film from inside the striker while it is engaging Russian positions with its 50 I think one of the main reasons we have not seen the striker in action so much is that due to its relatively thin armor compared to other vehicles like the Bradley for example it is especially vulnerable to Russian fpv and laned drone attacks a Russian occupied house surrounded by Ukrainian special forces in the chuv region instead of storming the building the ukrainians decided to call an an fpv drone that struck the building the clip is a very good example of how fpv drones can hugely affect close Urban fighting and take risks away from The Operators who otherwise would most likely have been forced into intense Urban combat in such a situation the draw was enough to let the Russians overtake their decisions and shortly after the strike they left the building to surrender in the donet region chess OFA a small town located approximately 10 km west of bmud has become one of Russia’s main focus and its current offensive campaign currently chess of Y remains under Ukrainian control but Russian forces recently managed to capture a large part of this Eastern Urban outskirt mini District containing a number of high-rise buildings as proof a number of drawn videos showing small Russian elements operating in the area was released on telegram here we can see a Russian fire team split in two two-man teams crossing a linear danger area by using a bounding maneuver one element moves where the other one provides cover and vice versa all this was filmed by a Russian drone and pretty decent quality what is uncommon for most Russian Drone footage however the next barrier for Russian troops besides the other half of the district is the canal separating the district from the main Town especially this chop point here has the potential to canalize a large amount of future Russian movement to reinforce CH of Y the Ukrainian Ken unit was relocated to the city from the area of cupin and now plays a large part in the Ukrainian defense here we can see Ukrainian M reps maneuvering inside the city on the Russian Artillery Fire filmed from inside the vehicles and also from a drone Russian forces have been using a lot of artillery and aerial bombardments to weaken Ukrainian defenses and Destroy critical infrastructure before launching their ground assaults onto the city these tactics aim to erod the defensive capabilities of Ukrainian troops and have also the goal to further degrade the Ukrainian military in the donet region the capture of Chas OFA would enable Russia to launch further offensives towards other key Ukrainian held cities in the area and would also take a major Hub away from the Ukrainian armed forces that are using the city as a key element in their defense of the region the Ukrainian military has fortified its positions utilizing the town’s advantageous terrain to M to robust defense however the sheer volume of Russian firep power and the continuous assaults have placed significant strain on Ukrainian Defenders chess ofar holds imense strategic value due to its location on High Ground the before mentioned Canal also acts as further beneficial factor in favor of the Defenders I think the deployment of the Ken unit and Elite Special Operations Force to chess y underscores the importance of the town in Ukraine’s defensive strategy some people from the pro- Russian crowd even argue that the fall of Chess of could have the potential to lead to a Russian operational victory in the donet region while I think that this would not happen right away it still however would bring costan if to closer inight for Russian troops the capture of Chess would also align with what I call Russia’s strategy of City hopping in this strategy Russia focuses on constantly capturing the next largest city or Urban settlement to use it as a b base for further operations to expand its territory for example they used donet as a base to capture F divka and then utilized F divka to extend their reach further West and Northwest similarly they are now using bmot as a base for their efforts to capture chess if y the capture of each urban center serves as a springboard for subsequent operations this method allows Russian forces to consolidate their gains regroup and use the newly captured city as a logistical and operational hub for further offenses large urban areas are also serving as staging points for Russia’s mechanized formations that are heavily restricted by Ukrainian drones and open terrain each captured City provides logistical support including Supply Depots command centers and medical facilities which are essential for sustaining military operations Urban centers also often contain vital infrastructure such as roads Railways and communication networks which are crucial for moving troops and supplies using this approach is basically a necessity with all the drones and advanced surveillance it has become impossible to hide larger amounts of troops Urban centers provide cover and concealment especially if they contain large industrial zones that can be considered hard cover in that context if you get what I mean in short large industrial zones are particularly valuable as they often consist of robust buildings that can withstand significant damage and provide fortified positions these areas are basically offering good protection against all sorts of attacks such as artillery and air strikes as a rule of time it can be said that everything with a roof is good since it at least provides concealment from drones while everything made of concrete can provide hard cover the more solid the better the same goes for the number of concrete buildings the more concrete buildings a town has the better the best way for Ukraine to counter this is with fire power especially air based fire power of course groundbased fire can also help but the example of rushing Glide bomb shows that air dropped Munitions are better suited to level any form of structure more precisely and cost effectively I think to we see right now pretty much show what I mean while artillery and motors have a suppressive effect here for sure it’s still not enough to bring the buildings down and the volume of High Caliber fire needed for this with artillery would have to be very high on the other hand a few guided boms would be way more effective this of course only if Ukraine would have enough air assets and could solve the problem it faces regarding the successful Russian jamming of their J damps here we have one is most likely archive footage of a Ukrainian and one Abrams engaging the Russian heal eff Coke plant with its main Cannon the M1 Abrams tank is capable of engaging targets at ranges of up to approximately 4,000 M under ideal conditions this maximum engagement range is achieved using its 120 mm smooth gun equipped with Advanced Fire Control Systems and Munitions designed for long distance accuracy and Effectiveness the Ukrainian 47 mechanized Brigade released a short but interesting video showing one of their m282 Bradley using a tow missile to take out a Russian T8 tank in the FD sector the northwest of badichi the Bradley struck the tank on a distance of about 1.5 km in addition a picture of the disabled t80 tank was also released on May 4th Russia released footage of a Ukrainian Bradley being hit and most likely taken out of action in the same area the video showing the Bradley taking out the tank was released on May 8 there is a tendency to release footage a little bit later so the possibility that this was the same Bradley cannot be ruled out however it has to be pointed out that it can also not be confirmed at this point after being hit the Bradley continued to drive for a while before stopping close in front of a tree line where it most likely was abandoned a look at the map reveals the exact location where the Bradley took out the tank the Bradley was located here while the tank was positioned here the area where the Bradley was disabled was somewhere around here the Deep state map shows that the area was captured by Russia between May 4th and May 5th this Russian MTB also got taken out by a Ukrainian Bradley from the 47th mechanized Brigade after it dropped off a squad of infantry riding on top of it a little bit further north of the previous location here to be precise the usage of Bradley in a Mobile Defense role is nothing new on this sector of the front and the Russian vehicle crews are very well aware of this danger therefore they try to make sure to leave the area as soon as possible after dropping off the Infantry this mtrb however was unlucky and faced the full force of the Bradley’s 25 mm Bushmaster Cannon hitting the vehicle and penetrating its th armor the hits caus the armored personal carrier or better I should say armored TR reor to catch fire before stopping it is for sure that this mtrb will not deliver any more troops to this front here two more Russian armored vehicles maneuvered into the firing line of a Ukrainian Bradley the area they had to cross was intensively monitored by Ukrainian drones that filmed everything the 25mm canle of the Bradley opened fire and began to engage the vehicles I cannot show the spot here but it is included in the full version of this edit the link to it is in the description this long BTR was even more un it maneuvered directly into the barrel of another Bradley resulting in a point blank duel between the two vehicles from which the Bradley emerged Victorious I also cannot share the full content here but I have included it in the telegram edit this video footage filmed by a Russian drone shows what a beast of Bradley is in terms of survivability after one Bradley got hit and disabled by Russian fire a second one was sent in to evacuate the crew of the first one which seems to have taken the hit pretty well thanks to the Bradley’s armor the second Bradley also gets hit in the process of evacuating the Ukrainian soldiers but is totally unaffected by the hit for now and continues its Mission bringing the ukrainians back safely as you can see the Bradley’s robust design allows it to continue missions even after sustaining hits uring its crew safety Ukrainian sources also released ground footage from the operation that shows how it looked like for the Bradley as everything happened the Bradley is not only effective in hunting tanks and other armored vehicles but its 25 mm Cannon also allows it to be the perfect choice to engage enemy infantry units and tree and trench lines as this grainy video here showcases perfectly the Bradley was sent in to engage Russian infantry trying to occupy the area to gain ground the video was filmed from the turret of the Bradley and by a drone observing the area another video recorded by a drone of the 47th mechanized Brigade shows yet again another Bradley ifv assault on a tree line occupied by a group of Russian soldiers here the Drone recorded in higher quality and shows the Bradley working on the tree line with its 25 mm Cannon while seemingly also being targeted by artillery we can see the grow lited with cess crators from artillery impacts is the automatic Bushmaster machine cannon of the bradle fires round after round into the Russian positions being on the receiving end of this machine is definitely no joke in my opinion the Bradley is the best performing ifv in this war so far even though Ukraine has already lost quite a few of them currently one of the biggest threats for the Bradley are drones during Ukraine’s Southern counter offensive in 2023 mines atgms and helicopters were also a big problem but currently drones are used the most against them however as this L of drone hit shows under some circumstances the ifv can take even direct hits pretty well here it has been reported that the hit was absorbed by the Bradley’s reactive armor tiles however there are also a lot of cases where Bradley’s got disabled or taken out by Cheap fpv drones as this video is here released by Russian telegram Channel show please clear footage from Observer drones showcasing the final effects of the hits however is missing still there are several pictures of Russian soldiers posing in front of disabled or destroy Bradley’s notice how this Soldier is armed with a shotgun or weapon that for long was a non-organic weapon system in the Arsenal of both sides this is due to the danger of Ukrainian drones just waiting for Russian infantry or recovery vehicles that try to get close to the disabled Ukrainian Vehicles here we see Ukrainian fpv drones trying to prevent two Russian recovery vehicles from towing a disabled Swedish ver of the leopard two tank away from the front line the ukrainians mainly try to prevent the capture of those West UND donated equipment for several reasons one would be that because of their design that is focused on survivability many of the vehicles can be repaired and used again in battle furthermore they want to deny the Russians any propaganda Victory by capturing and showcasing these vehicles also they do not want to give them any possibility to further study them the ukrainians managed to keep the Russians off the western gear surprisingly well for over a year but ultimately it was just a matter of time until they would capture some and it is no surprise that they recently Managed IT this Bradley was brought to Moscow after the Russians captured it in the area of FDF this however was not the only Western piece of deer Russia recently obtained as this footage of a pretty intact looking German mod ifv shows not much comad footage from this ifv has been released so far and almost everything comes from the Russian side like this laned strike video here here we can witness a Russian recovery vehicle towing a disabled leopard two away I already reported on this in the last update but because it got restricted many people did not see it all of the captured Vehicles were brought to Moscow to be displayed for the public there in an attempt to boost morale another highlight next to the captured Leopard 2 was the capture of an m1150 ABV assault breacher vehicle showcased here as well as the capture of a US supplied M1 Abrams tank the captured Abrams along with the other Western military equipment is currently on display at an exhibition in Victory Park Moscow the exhibition features over 30 pieces of heavy equip captured from Ukrainian forces while all vehicles were examined by Russian Engineers the actual value they can derive from this is most likely low to be honest in a symbolic Act of humiliating the Western war machines Russia disabled The Guns of the captur tanks using heavy weights this was done in an attempt to further reinforce The Narrative of Russian superiority over Western military technology however this message was aimed more at their own population in countries with a significant population sympathetic to their war effort rather than Western or Ukrainian audiences Russia also released footage of several strikes on a disabled M1 Abrams tank that got stuck with its crew still inside according to Russian sources the tank was hit with artillery fpv and led drones the video also shows the crew disembarking and leaving the seal on harm while the Russians continue targeting the tank from the footage it looks like everyone made it out alive which once again speaks for the survivability that Western systems offer in the rear behind the Ukrainian lines Russian forces continue to hit high value targets with Precision strikes a number of videos showing strikes on various assets including Ukrainian Jets and other military equipment surfaced on telegram but I did not include every one of them here these strikes are part of Russia’s overall attrition strategy pair with the attempt to overstretch Ukrainian defenses not only in length but also in depth in the footage it looks like mostly missiles were used while the strike sites were observed in real time by reconnaissance drones with this isander m strike Russia claimed the destruction of over 30 Ukrainian D20 howitzers that were stored out in the open in the Sami region located about 40 km from the Ukrainian Russian border interestingly if you input the coordinates of the strike into Google Maps you can see that these hozers have been there out in the open for a very long time this raises the question of whether they were even operational in the first place or just an unused stock of spare parts material in the beginning of this update I mentioned Russia adapting and here we can see one example of this in the form of an interestingly concealed motor position while this does not help against counter battery radar it still helps hide their firing position from detection by drones additionally it offers at least a minimal level of protection against drone dropped grenades and fpv drones it has also been reported that the Ukrainian site has adopted a similar approach once the fire mission is completed the position is concealed again and the men move deeper into their shelter furthermore there have been renewed Russian attempts to utilize large amounts of smoke to cover armored formations which currently can only operate on a smaller unit scale due to the constant danger of being spotted and engaged by drones and artillery for what I have seen this has been semis successful so far as shown in this video of a mechanized assault under the cover of smoke traditionally smoke is meant to be used offensively in Russian Doctrine so this alone is nothing new what is new however is the scale on which this is being attempted by deploying smoke to obscure their movements the advancing forces remain hidden from sight make making it harder for fpv drones to Target them and for spotter drones to identify them for artillery strikes but again as you can see here this is often only semis successful and is also dependent on other factors such as the weather however there are also reports of Russian troops having used this tactic with success not so in this video it looks like the only two remaining vehicles canceled the assault and retreated back to the Russian lines while still deploying smoke after quite some time Russian forces have released a number of extensive helmet cam videos of their troops in combat again this particular video was filmed by a Russian Marine of the 155th guards Naval infantry Brigade as his unit stormed the Ukrainian trench position during the battle for Nova mikva it was released by the Russian Ministry of Defense additionally other Russian sources have released different helmet cam footage mostly from their archives interestingly this is the first time I have seen or notice Bob W being used to reinforce the trench in Ukraine it may be that they have been used more often but I cannot remember seeing it much before can be that my brain just blended it out however this is strange because Bob wire has been used extensively in military fortifications particularly in front of trenches since the first world war late in front of trenches it creates a physical barrier that can slow down enemy advances even if it seems the Russians were able to overcome it pretty quickly it must really be that I simply have not really noticed it so clearly before because in general it makes sense that Ukrainian forces have been reinforcing trenches and defensive positions with bar wire to protect against Russian advances another Russian archive helmet cam video shows a similar assault carried out by Russian forces in an undisclosed location this video was also filmed by a Russian soldier using a kov with an attached under Barrel grenade launcher however this time they stormed Ukrainian fighting positions located in a wooded area using Small Arms fire and grenades it is also pretty interesting how the recent Russian advances correlate with an increased release of more helmet cam footage if you follow the conflict and videos released from Ukraine a lot you might have already noticed that in general such longer highquality helmet cam videos are not released much by the Russians only at the beginning of the war they did so as part of their media strategy but they stopped shortly after and switched to only showing short handpicked pieces of footage supporting The Narrative of their special military operation well I guess this time they want to support The Narrative of their advances so nothing really new it is only natural that aside one only offensive releases not necessarily more footage but more helmet cam footage than it would while being on a defense this is also the case with the Ukrainian side you might also remember previous updates I did that were full of Ukrainian helmet cam videos but showed nearly no Russian footage this has a few simple reasons first there is not really much to show when you are on the defense especially in trench warfare You could argue that there would still be value in it for informational Warfare purposes but there are definitely better formats such as Drone footage to use here also being on the defense means a lot of waiting and botom for the soldiers while the combat itself involves a lot of being pinned down by enemy suppressive fire and artillery on the offense however helmet cam videos are a pretty good tool to supplement and support offensive operations in the informational domain creating the impression of dominance over the overall situation however I have to admit that it gets harder and harder for me to talk about helmet cam videos without repeating myself since no matter which side they mostly all show the same things if my commentary still provided you with something valuable please show your support with a like what I have just said however does not mean that Ukraine did not release any helmet Camp footage because in fact they have even if many are archival videos as well here we have pretty high quality helmet cam footage of Ukrainian troops in trench combat and what I believe is the Lan region the soldiers are seen maneuvering through a trench and engaging Russian soldiers with small arms fire I think that this is a unit of the S of regiment in the Kina Forest but do not know for sure perhaps someone of you can give us more information about this in the comments here we have Ukrainian archival helmet Camp footage from combat in the area of kinky in the Curson region since last year Ukrainian forces have established and maintained positions around the village of kinky on the dino River’s Eastern Bank despite heavy Russian Artillery and drone attacks Ukrainian troops have demonstrated resilience and continue to hold their ground currently pro- Russian bloggers have reported that Ukraine has given up the bridge head however I have not seen any real confirmation of this by the time I am working on this update perhaps when you see this update this information will have been confirmed by Ukrainian sources as well but for now I cannot confirm that Ukraine has given up this bridet one thing is for sure over the last couple of months the situation in creeky has been very fluid and dynamic with the area being highly contested I have to add here that within this the only stable Factor was the fact that Ukraine still maintained the bridge head logistically the situation remains challenging for both sides even if Russia has a slight Advantage Ukrainian forces rely on small boats to bring in supplies and reinforcements under the cover of Darkness navigating the treacherous Waters of the dino River while avoiding constant drone surveillance and attacks according to the K post and espresso TV both Pro Ukrainian Outlets the Ukrainian military has managed to establish additional ponton Bridges to bolster their logistical capabilities ensuring a steady flow of supplies and reinforcements to the bridge head I have to say that I have not seen any of this however and this even after looking at a ton of recently geolocated footage from that area this is no surprise since such River Crossing operations are extremely difficult due to the high amount of drones and artillery concentrated in that area building and maintaining such bridges over time is extremely dangerous I think this footage marks the first clear documentation of an unmanned grow vehicle used in a combat role providing direct fire onto enemy positions the video was filmed by a Ukrainian drone and shows a Ukrainian combat ug using a heavy machine gun to engage Russian positions over quite a distance with what was most likely arrestment fire the use of ugvs in combat rolles offers several advantages one would be that these vehicles can operate in hazardous environments where human soldiers would be at significant risk Russia on their side also threw two armed ugvs into the battle in the FDF CCTA but it seems their mission did not went as planned the robots were filmed by a drone of the 47th mechanized Brigade as they were standing still could be that they have been jammed could have been the were out of communications range whatever it may was they were quickly targeted by fpv drones while the first ugv took the fpv Drone quite well without any visible damage the second one exploded so heavily that it was thrown out of the frame as you can see the place where it stood was suddenly empty the other ugv was targeted with an fpv drone again but also this time the effect on this one was minimal it seems that in general these ugvs are very vulnerable to fpv drone strikes especially when they carry ammunition or explosives such as mines like in this case additionally they have basically no organic means to defend themselves from chicoli drones and even detecting such dangers is hard for the operators du to limited situational awareness also they are heavily limited by terrain and for now range what makes me think that they are not quite the success like fpv or DJI drones for example especially cheaper models however can be successfully used as vbieds to Target fixed positions or critical infrastructure such as Bridges like the small Ukrainian ug vas here this tactic allows Ukrainian forces to conduct precise attacks while minimizing the risk to Personnel leveraging the uv’s mobility and the element of surprise to deliver significant destructive power effectively in Ukraine unmaned ground systems are also extensively used for M clearance operations these robotic vehicles are equipped with specialized tools to detect and safely detonate or remove landmines reducing the risk to human sepers their deployment enhances the efficiency and safety of M clearance efforts allowing for more rapid and thorough removal of explosive hazards and conflict effects Ed [Music] areas these unmanned ground systems also feature modular designs enabling them to be quickly adapted for different types of mine and explosive ordinance disposal tasks furthermore they play a critical role in humanitarian efforts as their deployment speeds up the process of making agricultural lands and residential areas safe for civilian use again helping to restore normaly and conflict affected [Music] regions this Russian soldier riding on a quad through an open field somewhere in Ukraine recorded a very close encounter with an incoming Ukrainian fpv drone that is clearly visible shortly after the Drone impact behind the quad another impact can be seen in front of it possibly from a motor round the soldier was transporting a group of Russian soldiers who dism maled in the field in a hurry shortly after the attack the Russian operator excal trated immediately after dropping off the soldiers with this year showing a tremendous increase in fpv and another drone usage it is no wonder that we are seeing more and more footage of Ukrainian and Russian soldiers trying to intercept them with small arms fire as you can see here in this example fpv drones are especially maneuverable making it a challenge to shoot them down nonetheless it is very possible as the following examples will show soldiers often employ coordinated fire using multiple Shooters to increase the likelihood of hitting the Drone this method is especially useful in situations where electronic warfare systems might fail to disrupt the Drone signal the effectiveness of small arms fire Against fpv drones has been highlighted in various instances for example Ukrainian soldiers have successfully bed Russian laned drones which are kamikazi drones designed to crash into and Destroy high value targets despite the Lancet speed of approximately 100 km hour Ukrainian forces have managed to intercept them with small arms fire although this remains a significant challenge Russian soldiers on their side mostly use Small Arms to intercept small commercial drones such as fpv and DJI while shooting down drones with small arms fire is not foolproof and often requires considerable skill coordination and sometimes simple luck it remains a vital part of the defensive toolkit on the battlefield in Ukraine Russians even claim to have shot down a Ukrainian kamazi drone with a tank in this footage although it is not confirmable and this extremely lucky Russian soldier managed to fight off an incoming fpv drone with a simple stick this was more luck than anything else and there are coupless examples of similar situations having a bad ending the optimism this Russian soldier shows is interesting to say the least trying to down a drone with a disposable rocket launcher well what can I say to this what are your thoughts on this let me know in the comments also do not forget to leave a like if you have not already it really would help me out more than ever before your likes and engagement protects me from false reports by Bots perhaps in the future people will think twice about shooting rockets at drones because soon they can respond with the same means and with even more precision as shown in this footage of a drone test with an atgm I do not know how they will solve the issue with the missile guidance but it is an interesting concept this Yak 52 intercepted and shot down a Russian all in 10 reconnaissance drone over the odsa region the incident which occurred on April 27 2024 involved the Soviet ER trainer aircraft being repurposed for combat in an unconventional approach reminiscent of World War I tactics this is pretty incredible footage showing an fpv drone intercepting another drone in the air while this is not the first time fpv drones have been used to intercept other drones it is definitely the first time we see it from this perspective filmed by two different cameras this really gives us a glimpse into the future where the first echelons of any advanced military force will be unmanned systems that engage each other all backed by artificial intelligence I mean just imagine the Drone battles you are about to see in the following Clips being conducted completely autonomously without any human input pretty crazy if you ask me they attempt to use drones to catch adversary drones with Nets as showcased here is not entirely new NATO already experimented with this concept a few years ago a majority of these intercepts shown in the clips here were conducted by Russian drones this is due to the fact that it seems that there is no official training at the front where drone on drone combat gets already incorporated into Russian drone pilot training courses here a Russian drone is crashing into a Ukrainian babayaga drone that could just drop its payload in time before being hit by the Russian drone and here a Ukrainian drone crashes into a Russian one this time before it could drop its payload here here we have what was reported as archive a footage of a Ukrainian sea baby USV firing a salvo of rockets at a Russian warship in the Black Sea recently Russia released footage showing the use of helicopters to intercept and Destroy Ukrainian kamikazi boats also known as unmanned surface vessels in the Black Sea these kamikazi boats designed to act as explosive latent drones have been deployed by Ukraine to Target Russian naval assets the helicopters chase down and neutralized these boats employing a combination of Rapid Fire guns and air to surface missiles report reports indicate that Russian forces managed to destroy about 60 to 70% of the kamikazi boats before they reach their targets however even the remaining 30% posts substantial threats capable of inflicting serious damage on Russian vessels the intercepted boats are part of a larger Ukrainian strategy leveraging Kam cause the usvs to disrupt Russian naval operations despite the high interception rate the successful attacks have led to notable damage including hits on Russian warships as well as an attack on the creman bridge while helicopters currently play a cral role in countering these threats the use of these manned aircraft comes with significant risks including potential losses of both equipment and Personnel after quite some time we finally got to see some FGM 148 Javelin footage from Ukrainian forces again several videos showing Ukrainian soldiers utilizing them against Russian armor have surfaced on multiple telegram accounts in recent months and weeks many of these videos show the complete flight path of the missile from launch to impact on their targets giving us a good impression of the range at which these systems are operated the missile of the Jaelin has a top speed of 430 m/s so you can count the time from launch to impact to get a rough estimate of how far away these tanks were the javelin’s infrared guidance system allows operators to lock onto a Target and fire without needing to track the missile providing a significant tactical Advantage it features both top attack and direct attack modes perfect for hitting armored targets from above or directly in front the javelin’s warhe can penetrate modern tanks armor including those with explosive reactive armor at a max effective range of up to 4,750 M it has significantly impacted modern anti-tank Warfare providing infantry units with a powerful tool to counter heavily armored threats its Advanced guidance system and fire and forget capability make it a formidable asset on the battlefield each Javelin missile costs around $175,000 and the command laun sheld cost about $250,000 so far the US government has invested billions in developing and procuring jevins for example the US Army allocated approximately $1.5 billion for jevins in recent budgets recent deals with countries like Ukraine have brought additional hundreds of millions in sales Beyond direct sales the jaevin program supports thousands of jobs in the defense industry from engineering to manufacturing and Beyond here we can see a Ukrainian anti-tank guided missile team engaging a Russian BMP from the roof of a heavily damaged building everything from launch to impact was recorded by a Ukrainian drone that tried to follow the anti-tank guided missile until its impact it appears that the BMP was already abandoned and had been standing there for quite a while this assumption is based on the clearly visible rust on the vehicle over the recent month Ukrainian Special Forces continued to conduct a series of kamikazi drone and high M strikes on Russian anti-air defense systems located in the rear of the front there were quite a lot of videos released showing the strike so I only included a few for documentation the buck missile system is a family of self-propelled medium-range surface to air missile systems developed by the Soviet Union and later by Russia as you could see it is mounted on track vehicles providing it with high mobility and allowing it to operate alongside armored units this lucky BMP 2 of the Ukrainian 90 tur mechanized Brigade had a close encounter with an incoming Russian lanced drone Landing right in front of it only missing it by inches according to the operators the BMP was only slightly damaged and continued its operation as you soon will see as you can see in this and the following clip lanced drones have recently demonstrated their ability to adjust their flight path just before impact allowing them to achieve a higher hit rate these Maneuvers can also be used to evade incoming fire from small arms and muled machine guns aimed at intercepting them however as said the BMP was spared and continued its operation against the Russian held tree line was still being targeted by sporadic artillery fire looks like its objective was to keep the Russians busy with fire from its 30 mm Cannon pretty interesting to see a bmp2 30 mm fire mission in such high quality from a GoPro mounted to its turret this Russian cruise missile was chased by a Ukrainian anti-air missile the footage widely shared on various platforms highlights the missiles ability to track and adjust its flight path in real time this Pursuit demonstrates Advanced targeting capabilities but does not show the actual interception such videos emphasize the ongoing high stakes technological Warfare in the region his strong video filmed in press aor of Kos the Ukrainian hve section conducting a raid into Russian occupied positions inside the town the vehicles provide suppressive fire on two buildings while dismounted Ukrainian infantry pushes forward to throw bags with explosives Through the Windows in order to blow them up it seems that the support fire from the heavy machine guns mounted on the Humvees was highly effective the suppressive fire provided by the vehicles likely kept the enemy at Bay allowing the Ukrainian soldiers to accomplish their objective the video footage shows the soldiers returning to their vehicles shortly after completing their mission they quickly remot to the Humvees and left the area demonstrating the coordination and effectiveness of their tactical Maneuvers well at least up to this point because then one of the explosive bags detonated prematurely just as the second of the two enves was passing by the building it is unclear why the premature detonation happened however luckily the vehicle was unaffected by the explosion and both Humes left to Hot Zone heading towards their own friendly lines in this video we can see that Humes can withstand significant damage as demonstrated by this heavily hit yet still operational example I mean there are definitely better armored vehicles out there but still pretty impressive I also think that these two Russian soldiers can provide a firsthand the card of the ballistic protection and bullet resistant glass used in the windows of the hanvey as they were using it for target practice shortly after the capture of abka they even inspected the bullet impact areas from up close afterwards the up armored Humvees are equipped with Ballistic steel and composite materials to protect against various calibers of small arms fire and shler from explosive devices reinforce floor plates are also installed to provide additional protection against mines and IEDs as said there are better armored vehicles out there but the humie stays one of my favorites perhaps the biggest Showcase of recent Russian adaptations to the current state of the battlefield in Ukraine is the introduction of the so-called turtle tank or sa mangle as it is also known this modified armored vehicle epitomizes the rapid evolution of Modern Warfare tactics in response to new threats particularly from drones the turtle tank is a heavily modified version of traditional Russian main battle tanks such as the t72 and t80 its most distinctive feature is the additional layer of steel armor which fully encloses the tank giving it a peculiar appearance reminiscent of a turtle shell or a makeshift shed this extra armor serves a vital purpose to protect the tank from aerial threats especially firstperson view chemicaly drones used effectively by Ukrainian forces for reconnaissance and targeted strikes the design of the turtle tank includes Corner support columns and a steel structure welded on to the Tank’s frame this structure incorporates anti- drone grills known as cop cages designed to intercept and neutralize incoming drones the tanks are also outfitted with electronic warfare systems which include antennas that jam the signals of adversary drones adding another layer of defense against these increasingly sophisticated threads the primary reason for these extensive modifications is the rising threat from drones Ukrainian forces have used drones effectively to carry out Precision strikes on Russian armed Vehicles these drones can navigate tight spaces and Target vol vulnerable points on the tanks such as engine compartments and hatches to to this the turtle tank CW systems disrupt drone control signals while the physical armor aims to prevent drones from making direct hits also the often equipped mine rollers make it possible to clear a PAAD for following armored vehicles through the many Mine Fields Ukraine uses to slow down Russia’s recent offensive operations basically the sheds of the tank protect the tank and its electronical Warfare systems who on their side protect the tank and the rest of the vehicles from fpv drones while the mine rollers protect the whole assault group from mines ensure the form of layered defense on platoon level while the turtle tank offers enhanced protection Against drones it comes with several significant tactical drawbacks the added weight from the extra armor and ew systems reduces the tank speed and maneuverability this limitation makes it less effective in fast moving combat scenarios where agility is crucial additionally the fully enclosed design severely limits the cruise visibility making it challenging to detect and respond to threats on the battlefield the non rotating turret further restricts its Field of Fire diminishing its Effectiveness in Dynamic combat situations this does not mean that this tank has not been utilized effective so far in fact it as even if it seems its Effectiveness has shrunken a little bit after the first shock caused by its sudden introduction the turtle tank is primarily used in a defensive capacity protecting critical infrastructure and support units from aerial attacks its design is less suited for other types of offensive operations due to its reduced mobility and compromised situational awareness despite these limitations the turtle tank has shown some Effectiveness in mitigating drone threats however it remains vulnerable to traditional anti-tank measures such as artillery and anti-tank guided missiles reports indicate that 155 mm artillery shells have been particularly effective in neutralizing these tanks under scoring the continued importance of conventional fir power in Modern Warfare the introduction of the turtle tank has significant psychological and strategic implications for the Russian military it represents a pragmatic response to a pressing tactical challenge showcasing their ability to innovate under Battlefield conditions for Ukrainian forces the turtle tank presents a new obstacle necessitating continuous adaptation and the development of new cter measures the presence of these tanks on the battlefield has also drawn considerable International attention providing valuable insights into the evolving nature of armored Warfare and the ongoing technological arms raised between offensive and defensive capabilities looking forward the future of the turtle tank will likely involve further modifications and enhancements Russian Engineers May focus on improving the Tank’s mobility and situational awareness while maintaining its protective capabilities meanwhile Ukrainian forces will continue to refine their drone Warfare tactics and develop new methods to counter these heavily armored vehicles this ongoing Evolution highlights the dynamic and adaptive nature of modern military conflicts where both sides must continuously innovate to maintain a tactical Advantage the turtle tank is a microcosm of the broader changes occurring in Modern Warfare the rise of drone technology has fundamentally altered the battlefield making traditional armored vehicles more vulnerable to new types of threats both Russian and Ukrainian forces have had to adapt quickly to this new reality for instance the concept of the cop cage emerged from earlier conflicts such as in Syria and has since evolved into more comprehensive protective measures like the turtle tank the conflict in Ukraine has become a testing ground for these Innovations as each side introduces new technologies and tactics the other must respond in kind leading to a continuous cycle of adaptation and counter adaptation this cat and mouse game is a testament to the Ingenuity and resilience of military engineers and strategists on both sides in conclusion the Russian turtle tank otar mangle represents a significant step in the ongoing evolution of armed Warfare its development and deployment highlight the constant Innovation required to address new threats on the modern Battlefield while the turtle tank has shown some Effectiveness in protecting against drone attacks its limitations reveal the challenges of creating comprehensive defensive systems and a rapidly changing combat environment as the conflict in Ukraine continues the turtle tank stands as a symbol of both human Ingenuity and the Relentless pace of technological advancement in Warfare while effective to some degree I would still not consider it as the game Chang or Unstoppable super weapon many pro- Russian supporters wanted to be while they appeared all across the front and looked Unstoppable at first more and more footage of disabled and destroyed turtle tanks appeared as well in the FDF sector Russia continued to capture ground and took a number of towns the map here shows the territorial changes in the area from April till now most notably there was a Ukrainian tactical failure in the defense of Asher time where Russian forces managed to exploit a gap in the Ukrainian defenses caused by a poorly coordinated troop rotation attempt leaving the town undefended this allowed Russia to further expand its operations from there until Ukraine was able to stabilize the front in the sector and slow down Russia’s advances after the initial reports more and more footage of foreign mercenaries within Russian ranks in Ukraine has surfaced online showing them at the front lines are close to it these mercenaries predominantly come from African countries such as the one in this video as well as from India Bangladesh Nepal Syria and also Latin American countries in Serbia interestingly India despite having a noticeable portion of its population that is very pro-russian and anti-western is one of the countries where many of YouTube’s third party contractors responsible for Content moderation and monetization reviews are located but this just as a side note and a teaser to the real reason I am always L with videos spoiler alert I am working on something behind the scenes here we see a Serbian fight within Russian ranks on the right encouraging his new fellow mercenary friend to make some anti-western statements essentially he was shoting Fox TR un for kilo Charlie NATO and USA into the camera while his Serbian buddy cheered him on it has to be said that serbians have a very strong sense of national pride and many of them have never forgotten the NATO bombings of Serbia during the Yugoslav Civil War as a result many serbians hold a pro- Russian stance and still hob a deep grudges against the West the Kosovo situation also plays into this overall resentment against the West is next to money one of the main motivations many people from these countries have to join Russia’s war in Ukraine also their willingness to join up for this shows that Russia gains the upper hand in the Global Information War this is not according to me but according to an article from May 2024 released on the website of the royal United Services Institute which is the UK’s leading defense and security think tank in short the article discusses Russia’s expanding influence through information Warfare particularly in the global South where it has been investing heavily and achieving significant success while Western Nations have focused on countering Russian propaganda in Europe and North America Russia has quietly increased its operations in Africa the Middle East and Latin America Russia’s information Warfare capitalizes on historical Grievances and dissatisfaction with Western policies effectively shaping public opinion in its favor however I made a similar observation I already talked about in an older Ukraine war update back in early September 20123 where I said that a lot of footage released by Russia on telegram is actually aimed at countries with a large population sympathetic to Russia here you have it this is what I actually consider footage aimed at news Medias from countries with a population that is at least partial sympathetic to Russia especially India and Indonesia come into my mind here since it are both countries with large populations in which many have sympathy for Russia not because they have something against Ukraine but because they do not like the West in particular also there are a few Indian and Indonesian Channels with large subscriber numbers who have already become a daily hub for this footage and almost exclusively only post Russian videos like Western media channels massively reupload Ukrainian videos without even watching the videos they do the same thing only with Russian videos giving the halan Cold War 2.0 Vibes I think that this is a fact that often gets neglected in the west and we always think that these videos are mainly aimed at us what is not the case Russia wants to draw a picture of them resisting the whole economical and Military might of the West that dominated the world for centuries and wants to send this message especially to countries that are either bricks members like India or have atast Le the potential to become one like Indonesia not to speak of all the African countries who want to see Russia and exactly this role it shows itself in for historical reasons I could be wrong here but given the fact that Russia’s operations in the informational domain against the west and also Ukraine were not as successful as they used to be in the past before the war started in 2022 I think they started to additionally shift their focus more to the regions I mentioned before this however does not mean that the west and Ukraine are not targeted anymore they are I just think that they realize that they there are also other fruitful grounds for informational operations aimed against the west and other regions in the end people will believe what they want to believe and I know this pill is hard to swallow but there are actually quite a lot of people outside the West who want to see someone taking on all that economic cultural and Military dominance the West had for centuries well even if it is not that old I already aged quite well I would say I will link the article and my old update in the description box if you are interested in it here we see a lone African mercenary trying to fight off a Ukrainian drone with a stick while many join the Russian ranks out of financial necessity or anti-western motivations there are still many who are tricked into joining and are forced to fight for Russia as several documented cases have shown therefore I will delete any comments making fun of this man especially those that are racist in nature I do not support such behavior on my channel some people argue that the recent Russian recruitment of mercenaries might indicate they are running out of man but I do not believe this to be true given the broader context of Russian adaptations over the last couple of months these adaptations all aim towards one goal increasing survivability of their man and Equipment this begins with the fact that we have not seen any larger attempts by mechanized Russian formations Beyond company or even platoon level trying to break through the Ukrainian line since the first weeks of the Russian FD offensive furthermore we saw a massive increase in the use of Glide bombs aimed at Paving the way for smaller sized Russian elements so that they could more easily seize territory from Ukrainian Defenders the introduction of the so-called turtle tank is another Factor supporting this as mentioned this adaptation is used as an enabler to save bring friendly troops through the gray Zone with as few losses as possible we have also seen Russians attempting to recover abandoned turtle tanks and other armored vehicles as well as infantry units from the front more frequently recently although the letter could be a simple confirmation bias on my part since I have not observed many Russian attempts to recover disabled armored vehicles or stranded infantry units before the use of foreign Fighters also fits into this context as they can serve as so-called disposable infantry thereby preserving the Russian soldiers who were previously used for them the last and perhaps biggest indicator of a Russian shift in this direction is the replacement of Former Defense Minister shyu with Andre bosov and Economist with no military background this strategic appointment aims to optimize military expenditures and enhance Innovation within Russia’s defense sector indicating a shift towards a more economically driven approach to military management generally a more economically driven strategy implies cost reduction which in a military context also includes minimizing losses therefore better resource management what in the end Translate into increasing survivability for man and machine this however is like always only my observation what means I see them taking steps into that direction whether this will be successful or is truly their goal remains to be seen in the end a lot of this war follows the management principle of management by happening what means in the end the result will be declared as gold

In this Ukraine war update we take a look at recent events from the frontlines of the Ukraine war including extensive footage of the M2 Bradley in action against Russian armor in the Avdiivka sector inwhich we see Bradleys in combat against a Russian T-80 tank, several BTRs—one of which was engaged in a point-blank duel at close range—and at least one MTLB plus the very first ever video of the M1126 Stryker Combat Vehicle in offensive action.
Also, we discuss the fact that Russia is still advancing despite many losses and has even opened up a new front in the Charkiv region, further pressuring Ukrainian defenders who now have to overstretch their frontline even more weakening their defenses in Donetsk region, especially in the battle for Chasiv Yar that is also covered in this update.
We talk about Ukrainian and Russian helmet cam videos and their significance in the context of recent developments on the front.
We dive deeper into unmanned warfare, with a special emphasis on the use of unmanned ground vehicles in combat roles and drone-on-drone combat, as well as the interception of drones by small arms fire.
Additionally, we examine recent changes in Russian tactics, which seem to focus more on the overall survivability of men and equipment, and we answer the question of why so many people from the global south are currently willing to join Russia’s ranks as mercenaries.
As you can see the video comes in documentary lenght this time and a lot of context to the footage is delivered.

Footage of the Bradley, well put together seamlessly, very good vehicle,as you have shown , excellent edits and love how you make it feel like a documentary, but not boring, just the opposite, I usually do 3👍, but you get 5👍, out of 5, from me , from Massachusetts 🇺🇸😊
I've often wondered how the forcibly conscripted Ukrainian men perform in combat. Any observations?
No people what UKRAINE is doing we cant afford to lose chasiv yar UKRAINE leadership do something
keep it going
Oh Almighty God please protect UKRAINIAN soldiers
Great video, I can definitely tell the hard work you put in. The music was also fantastic.
Viva USA VIVA POWERHOUSE BRADLEY
Good reporting
So I know that several drone units have been transferred from Krinky to the front in the north to stop incursions towards Karkyve direction including a commander well known MAGYAR unit and his birds, several units still remain in Krinky to my knowledge, please forgive my spelling of the cities 😊
Excelent, i love how you speaks with facts to people see that is Russia that's advancing not like Western propaganda saids
47:37 As Indonesian i can confirm a lot of Indonesian support Russia mainly because they are against the West and they see Russia as a country that will fight against "Western hegemony" and i can also confirm Russian have been conducting information warfare in side Indonesia i recommend everybody to watch a video by narasi newsroom a Indonesian news channel the video is called "exposing Russia's influence operation on YouTube audience in Indonesia" the video basically said that Russia has been sending Russian agents to Indonesia like in bali to spread their propaganda
Love your preface
I can appreciate the neutrality in some of your comments even though I am 100% for Ukraine.
14:20 I think the 47th just has the best coverage – 100% there is amazing footage of also other vehivles doing an AMAZING job. But they just do not have it on cam. Marder and CV90 are much longer in that war but you do not get ANY footage of them doing their Job. I only saw 2 sec footage of a destroyed Marder or a destroyed CV 90. But lets do not forget – they lost so many bradleys it is crazy
There was no civil war in ex-Yugoslavia, but the aggression of pro-Russian Serbia against the other republics of Bosnia and Croatia
great video m8
Watching this video's comments is sad. You people will watch a greatly edited video with great content and arguably low bias and propaganda and proceed to post the most braindead bot-like message. All of these types of comments coming from both the pro-Russian and Ukrainian side just have the opposite effect; you just make your side look like fools. If you truly believe the side you support is morally right, then why lie? Why misrepresent the current situation?
If the side you support is truly morally right, then by talking and representing the truth, you will support it, as it will when viewing the truth that it will be shown your side is on the moral high ground. By posting dumb propaganda comments, you are just alienating the people who are on the fence about supporting your side but are turned off by your polarizing and propaganda-like comments.
Glad to see a new video. Well done as always.
Only in russia you'll see an MG32 mounted in a bunker
I love too make fun of the Moskva and the shot down AWACS.
But this war is shit for the people of both sides.
Only the armaments industry is the real winner.
Yeah in the west nobody cares about the captured Tanks. Because the Tanks are super outdated.
It is more a moral boost for the russians.
hail Russia
Nobody's cares
Drones with guns . . even Rambo would pucker up before rushing in current
Hey hippocrat boody you’re chanel is a double standard like you the Ukraine has no chance with Russia !
Indians dont like the west yet their population flocks to the west
Комбат! Батяня батяня! Комбат! За нами Крымия Харькова и Україна!!! 🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦
Great coverage and footage.
The turtle tank is an personnel carrier with the innovation that the Zeks underside have now only an thin corrugated tin roof for protection against enemy fire . . a great leap forward if have no concern for own troops
Thanks for another video that helps understand how terrible war is!! God speed!!
Great content!
They hate the west but are first in line to try to live here . . rats
Ага, только и успевают терять территории, фантасты)))
Good honest reporting
Да Бредли хорошо себя показывают на этой войне, в отличии от Абрамсов, нам не хватает похожей тяжелой БМП, очень жду Т-15 и Кургане в войсках, а не на парадах.
🇺🇦
Indonesians hating the west & it's culture … WHO COULD'VE THUNK IT.
from what i've seen in this war so far…ukraine is doing very well using western equipment to slow down the russian advance…but no matter what side you're on…russia is advancing at a costly pace…
что постить будешь когда Россия победит?
Yo War Leaks. SLAVA UKRAINI!!! jimmy
pssst stop talking without taking a deep breath!
27:48 – ты говоришь про украину, но показываешь Российскую технику и солдата.
The fact that Russia feels the need to put western vehicles on display shows how desperate they are to prove a single victory. The Russians are so sad. Like honestly
