This is Manchester Museum back in 2017 around midday in the school holidays. It made me think how much we either don’t know about or don’t appreciate on our doorstep.
He’s called Stan by the way. I believe he was discovered in the US.
And yet I’d say the soft play centres and shopping centres were rammed
Is this still there? My boy loves dinosaurs and would go mad to see that!
The MOSI in Manchester is bloody amazing. We did a weekend trip and had that as the main thing just so there was a purpose. We spent 4 hours in there
Went to a wedding in that exact spot. Slightly surreal venue!
I wouldn’t go either if the children from the Village of the dambed were allowed in.
I used to work nearby and would pop in at lunchtimes. I also have a crab phobia (it’s an actual thing) so hated the massive spider crab they had looking out into the road you had to walk right past – [this bastard!](https://i.imgur.com/ILXVmIk.jpeg)
My lad went there recently with school and came back talking about a Capybara he saw. I’m mind blown that im 32 and never heard of them.
Apart from the dinosaur, that room looks extremely boring
