It’s all game of dress up for (sweaty) grownups.
Can’t they all just pretend he’s not in charge?

There is a separate podcast currently being released also about the Texas Renn Fair, and goes into the lawlessness of the campgrounds as well as other stories. Between the two pieces it really paints an interesting picture of America’s largest Renaissance Fair and the wealth it generates in a month’s time for a few families.
Just finished the first episode and it’s fantastic.
Is this the inspiration behind that King of the Hill episode at the Renn Fair?
I have no prior knowledge of any of this but am now very invested in watching this.
