1. Everybody hated him and thought of it as a money laundering transfer or some shit, because those were the years where we would only accept „Barca level“ transfers. But he scored some crazy goals and did the dirty work whenever he came on. He didn’t play beautiful or technical, but he worked his ass off and scored a few important goals. Very weird, the transfer came out of nowhere.

2. He actually performed very well, scoring 9 goals in la Liga winning both la Liga and the Spanish cup. It is one of those players that I wished he stayed more with us. He didn’t play the match we lost 3-0 against Rome, and I am pretty sure with him inside the pitch the result would’ve been different.

   He was very energetic and hard-working player with the capacity to reach the box and scoring goals. When we signed him (he was coming from China, when they started signing very renowned players) I wasnt convinced at all but he surprised me very positively. After his year in Barcelona I think he went back to China. Weird career but always grateful for his year here.

3. Actually surprised us, scored some goals as well. He was great during his stay!

4. I always felt like we should have kept him along with Arturo Vidal. Just my thoughts.
