The poor kids are just commodities to these criminals
What strikes me about this is how easy it would be to stop if the right resources were put into it. You would think a black market dealing in children would be a top priority for any civilized society to destroy, yet there it is operating openly out of a global capitalist communication network.
It doesn’t seem like any children were adopted via these groups so it seems more like a financial scam than any actual child trafficking taking place. Obviously it’s still awful if there are people trying to buy these children, even if the kids might really not exist
