Early this morning, Ukrainian drones reportedly attacked the Novolipetsk Metallurgical Plant, the largest steel plant in Russia.

Ukrainian attack drones, explosions, and air raid sirens could be heard over the city around dawn.

  1. That’s around 500 km from Ukraine.
Google maps has some photos of the area.

  2. Good. Slow down their manufacturing, eliminate good (by Russhit standards) jobs, and eliminate sources of taxable revenue. Ukraine will win with the long economic gambit. The west just needs to be steady and reliable in their support.

  3. Surley putin would be pulling his hair out if he had any that Ukraine is starting to hit back further into Russia
..But then again Putins war cabinet wouldn’t be telling him the full extent of everything in fear they may accidentally fall out of highrise buildings like so many others

  4. How much real damage can drones do to a steel plant? Those things are huge and mostly incredibly heavy machinery. Hopefully they had intelligence on something flammable or explosive to strike.

  5. Good call! Even though their fascist war economy demands hundreds of factories running 24/7 with millions of workers, the metal has to come from somewhere.

  6. Does a steel plant have vulnerable parts where a small warhead can significantly damage operations?

    Electronics / computer control systems?
