1. Well that’s a contradictory and hypocritical title.

   “We need to unite by protesting these people.”

2. For all this end of democracy talk floating around neither side seems to ever accept losing democratically

3. Are these early signs that Macron’s gambit might work?

4. Instead of protests reflect on “Why the crowds are getting attracted towards far-right?” Is it only propaganda or some of the things they are saying like unchecked immigration are actually true? Ignoring the reality will not prevent their advances.

8. So what? Either they did not vote, which is on them, or that they are a vocal minority, which lost fair and square. Which way is it?

9. Honestly, at first I was mighty critical of that move. But if it makes Macron AND Le Pen lose to the united left then that is a deal im very willing to take.

11. Unite and do what? There seems to consistently be no actual appreciation on the left of why right-wing politics appeals to people and what sort of problems would need to be solved in order to stop that.
