2. So how much is a batch? Because it’s not clear from the article. 2? 10? Because they’d be loosing more planes than what they’re getting.

4. So, Russian gets batches of 2 per quarter/8 per annum. Assuming that rate has been maintained since the start of the Stupid Military Operation 2.5 years ago then that’s 20 aircraft delivered.

   Loss rate: 34? since the start of the Stupid Military Operation.

   So the fleet is gradually getting smaller, and like half of those losses have been within the last year as Ukraine is now obtaining long range missiles and drones capable of hitting them on the ground, while also obtaining missiles capable of shooting them down in the air. Conclusion: the fleet of aircraft is shrinking, and it’s not a good time to be flying (or maintaining on the ground) an SU34.

5. Ha a pair so 4 more dead pilots, and potentially more keychains.

6. How fast can these new planes get involved in the war?

   I assume a lot of testing must be done under several weeks(or months?) before put into frontline service.
