Federico Chiesa is on Bayern's list. The name of the Italian international was discussed at the club, although there's nothing concrete at the moment. Chiesa could leave Juventus this summer. His future will be decided after the Euros. Expected price: €30-40m [@Plettigoal, @SkySportNews]

  1. 30 million for 4 years won’t be bad I suppose

  2. Class player but do we want more injury prone players? Aren’t Coman, Maz, De Ligt, Gnabry, Guerreiro etc. enough?

  3. data says he was quite healthy last season, right?

but the 2 season before he had problems, missed a lot of games/minutes.

i mean i like his style, he is also at a very good age. wouldn’t be mad if we got him for relatively cheap…

  4. Just added him to my manager career mode on FIFA and it has been a game changer. I know that that has nothing to do with real world, but I have high hopes.

  5. Not many players of his quality available on the market. Hard to see exactly how he would fit into our attack, but we don’t yet know how Kompany plans to organize it in the first place.

  6. Is lefty winger that rare nowadays?

He’s obviously very good when healthy but that’s another risk

  7. That price is a steal for Chiesa. I get the hesitance but this guy is talented as hell. Exact type of guy we need. Can score goals, can set up goals, fights extremely hard when he’s on the pitch… I’m biased though I’ve wanted Chiesa here since he was playing in the U21 world cup

  8. Horrible injury record, great player but unreliable in the long term … even in the short term

  9. No thank you.

Maybe if this was post 2021 Euros but he’s getting older and has missed 10+ matches with injuries each of the last 3 seasons and has never looked the same since he tore his ACL a few years back.

  10. If he was 3-4 years younger, it would be a sensational transfer. But at his age and with his medical record, I wouldn’t want to see so much money spent.
