[Fabrizio Romano] FC Porto will present formal bid to Barça for Mikayil Faye around €15m this week, meeting already scheduled. Understand Barcelona want a buy back clause to be included in the deal as they don’t want to lose control on the player. Talks will continue this week.

At that point, why not loan him out? With our finances, we won’t be able to afford the buyback clause.
Tbh id rather keep him. We need a left footed cb. Sell inigo even if hes good hes made of glass. Rotate kounde aroujo christensen cubarsi and faye for cb. Kounde can also be our rb along with aroujo when needed. Plus aroujo and christensen have injury history. So itll be good to have rotation and whoever is in form plays more.
we scamming porto
Id rather keep him and sell Martinez. But if we do sell then we should also have a big sell on percentage. Portuguese clubs have a habit of getting huge fees for players. We want to make sure that, if he doesnt return, we get a good percent of any future transfer.
If we can buy him back with the same price it’s an amazing deal.
He can leave. He is more of an attacker cb than a defending one. He won’t be called up to the first team like he and his team are expecting, he needs to improve a lot. 15m with a buy backclause is a win.
Anyone that has seen the lad actually will tell you this is a good deal, he lacks severe concentration and positional awareness at times. Porto would be a great team to further develop him and iron out his glaring issues
Sell him, we need to start being a positive cash flow club. As a fan base, we need to support difficult decisions. We already have a solid cb rotation.
Good. I’ve been saying that we can get some good cash from him. I don’t know why Porto will pay 15 million for a third division player but I’m not going to think too much about it.
Shit deal. We make 10M for a player that has a lot of potential. Probably gonna spend it all on Iñigo Martinez’s salary for next year.
Hard to believe Porto paying 15m for a player who even our fans don’t rate.
