I recently got one of those old 5€ bills from a store, haven’t seen one in years and almost forgot what they looked like.

  1. off topic: i hate how they don t allow countries to put their personalities on euros

  2. Rather interesting. I’m also from Finland and deal with 5 euro notes usually due to work. I mostly see these and not the new ones. I guess it’s an areal difference.

  3. I haven’t touched cash money in years.

Honestly, I don’t even know what the new ones look like.

  4. I have to be totally honest, its been 3 years since ive seen any physical money (paper) and Ive no idea how the current one looks

  6. Bro i just randomly realized i havent even held a bill in my hand for like at least 2 years, i pay absolutely everything with debit card

  7. Had the same situation two weeks ago when the cashier gave me an old 10€ bill. Stared at her then at the bill and needed 2 or 3 more seconds to realize that it was the old design

  8. This is the one of the best looking signatures. From Jean-Claude Trichet

Whereas new banknotes have Draghi signature which looks like a child or Trump lol

  9. I think I haven’t touched any physical money in the past… 2 years? With the exception of when I went abroad and suddenly needed to pay something in cash. I was like: ehh where do I GET cash?
