Cameron asked if PM takes advice after D-day early exit

what people might say is that this is a prime minister who does not take advice so did you or your office give advice I’m not getting into any advice I gave he certainly takes advice you give advice I’m not I’m not you know we’re part of a team right we have a team captain I’m loyal to the team captain we have discussions in private then we act and then we we stand together what I would say people listening to this will take that as you did give them advice what I would say what I’d say is this prime minister does take advice uh I know that him I look prime ministers have to make decisions all the time uh how long do I spend here what do I do which which minister do I meet and you get some wrong he got this one wrong and he fessed up straight away and that’s the sort of person he is and a huge contrast frankly with what we saw last night from gear starm saying when I said You know Jeremy Corbin would be a great prime minister I only said that because I thought we were going to lose the election so he wasn’t being straight with us Rishi I think has been very straight about this

“So you did give advice?”

Foreign Secretary David Cameron is asked whether he spoke to Rishi Sunak about staying at D-Day commemorations.

  1. It's weird…ive seen my great Grandfather World War.2 pictures as he was a leading commander offers And he has pictures of Mr. churchill have tea and biscuits with Hitler. Ww2 is not what u think.

  2. Saying you're loyal to a team captain even when they're doing something wrong is like the folk at the Nuremberg trials saying they were just following orders.

  3. Why is this so called man back after running away from the mess he caused. Now happy and proud to give our money away to Ukraine and an illegal war on Ukraine part. the background to this war is murky to say the least and based on. complete lies. this msm should be barred from th8s country

  4. He called a referendum and lost it then walked away from the mess that he created. Now he's an unelected incompetent foreign secretary appointed an unelected incompetent prime minister . It's time to vote this shower of shite out.

  5. The 80th D-day ceremony in Normandy should have been in the diary of any Prime minister for decades, the fact that he couldn't be bothered to meet international leaders at omah beach and thank their countries for the great sacrifice their countrymen made to save us is shameful, disgraceful, and discredit to the great honor they showed us. Especially given their surviving veterans ages this was the last chance to thank them. To all the countries who participated in D-Day Australia, Belgium, Czechoslovakia, Denmark, France, Greece, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway and Poland. We are sorry, and thank you. Our prime minister truly failed us
In not being there to thank you, on all Britons behalf.

  6. the claim that Sunak admits his mistakes is a complete joke (eat out to help spread the virus?) – the man only asks for "forgiveness" when he is really desperate

  7. I'm pretty sure Cameron's advice was, "Don't worry about it bruv I've got you". Then promptly stands by all the world leaders in a historic photo as if he was still PM.😂

  8. Old Etonians generally don't take advice as tget are taught that only rgey are intelligent so not rwally surprising that a Wykehamist doesn't listen either. Keep trying to change the topic Cameron!

  9. I voted conservative for years never ever again , until mp are held accountable for there actions and lies nothing will change it’s all bollox , Nigel getting my vote this time 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

  10. A politician that says he loyal to the tram and captain is a lie. First chance he has to get rid of thr PM he will of it means more power for him

  11. Yes and look at some of the decisions you made during your stint as Prime Minister David. The countries worse off because of Tory decisions. Labour are just as bad but your lot are horrendous.

  12. An appalling PM. A joke Negotiator. Regularly failed in Europe and sent back with his tail between his legs. A laughing stock.

  13. You can just imagine as soon as he got off camera he muttered to himself, "geez, if anyone believes that line of BS, they'll believe anything."

  14. Hope David Cameron can lead the Tory party from the House of Lords, he's brilliant plus he's too cute and handsome 🤗 💕
