E.coli outbreak: Public warned not to eat products recalled as ‘precautionary measure’

have you recently bought any of these packaged sandwiches as part of your meal deal over 60 sandwiches have now been recalled from supermarkets as the suppliers have flagged an ecoli risk but what is ecoli how dangerous is it and what do you do if you catch it ecoli is a bacteria that is commonly found in the lower intestine of humans and animals however some cases can cause serious complications which can then later lead to kidney failure if you become unwell here is the NHS guidance on what you need to do regularly wash your hands with soap and warm water alcohol gels do not kill all of the bugs that cause diarrheal illness using disinfectants to clean surfaces do not prepare food for others if you have diarrhea and vomiting and avoid work or school for 48 hours after the symptoms stop
