Viberate started as a crypto company. I haven’t followed it closely, so I could be mistaken in some parts. If I remember correctly they originally promised a [different product](https://coincentral.com/viberate-crypto-a-beginners-guide/) on the blockchain where artists would get paid with their crypto coins, etc. Had a successful ICO and promised big returns for “investors”.
That didn’t happen, their [coin lost its value as quickly as it gained it](https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/viberate/). I think they bought it back for a low price, so the “investors” were gone. They kept most of the money, of course. For some time they even talked about building a large office building with it.
Now they have this database which seems decent. But they don’t even mention the blockchain anymore, because they never needed it.
Oh, but they’re back in crypto now! They’ll do “music” NFTs of their own!

Should we tell them about Discogs?
This reads like an ad.
Anyway…
