Well, who needed the EU in the days where there was plenty of fish in the sea, climate change was barely even a thought in the minds of science, and Denmark was able and willing to pick up the tab if anything was needed?
Glory to the London-Nuuk Axis! Death to Brussels!
There was no European union in 1985 but only the European Community. And Algeria left before Greenland.
EU was created in 1993
“first”, “European Union”
This is not true. Greenland was not a member country, so Greenland couldn’t be the first to leave.
Greenland was and still is part of a member country, but EU rules don’t apply to Greenland any more since 1985.
The dude that posted this thinks Greenland is a country…. that’s well you can see the level of just sheer ignorance on display on here.
Correct me if I’m wrong but don’t Greenlanders have freedom of movement because of their status with Denmark?
what sir?
This guy thinks Greenland is part of Europe and not part of North America… What a fool.
