UK aims to become global legal services hub using newfound Brexit freedoms Tags:Europe 5 comments Not really news of anything actually, just publicity for a Tory press release. Great idea* *Except: For legal services with the EU (thanks to Brexit making UK an unaccredited 3rd country) For legal services with the US (New York already exists for that) For legal services with China (Singapore and Hong Kong already exist for that) For legal services with India, Canada, South America, Australia and New Zealand (also already covered) Except for these few caveats, global opportunities await! They can start with prince Andrew I envy the english so much… I hope more countries follow their example Most countries prefer to use common law legal systems when dealing with international contracts. The UK court systems are also known to be safe and corruption very low. It makes sense to use this as leverage to bring more into the country, and bolster other services in the process.
