Cameron ‘baffled’ by Sunak aide who placed early bet on election

Craig Williams has he make it has he made it any easier for you as a party obviously foolish decision uh he’s being investigated by the gambling commission I don’t think there’s anything more I can add to that were you axic when you heard about that one it’s not really a word that kind of drings my mind I was pretty uh baffled and and uh unhappy about it but look he has to account for himself to the gambling commission and of course in front of his constituent it’s not a great look for the party though is it it it’s not great I accept that

  2. Let us be absolutely clear: in this day and age lords should not be party leaders nor should they hold great offices of state. His aristocracy and title disqualify him. I can totally see him making the move to be party leader and it should be looked at with the same anachronistic judgement as birching.
