Scotland fans mock Queen Elizabeth’s death with vile song at Euro 2024 – ‘banter’ taken too far, or completely out of order?

1. What was the song?

   By the “laws of banta” technically as long as it was meant in good humour and without the intention of causing offence any subject is safe grounds, even the late queen,

   But knowing that football chants are often aimed to instigate a reaction I would say they don’t fall under the category of “banta”

   Still if your not a royalist then you probably wouldn’t of been offended.

   So imo, it was in poor taste but not totally out of order, and unfortunately to be expected from certain elements of footballl culture.

2. I stopped supporting England footy after listening to a big chunk of fans happily chanting “I’d rather be a P*ki than a Turk” at Wembley.

   Double-barrelled bigotry. You get your money’s worth with England !

   They can take what they’ve been giving out.
