This is a big deal. Few months ago Zelensky said they needed like 6 or 7 more Patriots to fully control Ukraine skies. Now it seems they’re really close to that goal. At any rate, every Patriot system makes Ukraine significantly more safe from Russian attacks on infrastructure and civilians.

Which COULD mean US defense loans. Those seem to be regularly forgiven for the smaller allied countries receiving them. Guess we will see who ends up funding this sometime in the future when the data is quietly released. Still this is great news as the decision did lay with the Romanian government.
