  4. Surprising it didn’t leave more of an (obvious) crater, and that most of the building near it was still standing – though the initial building hit was obliterated.

  5. Now it explains more Putin’s N.Korea and Vietnam visits and “stand together if an enemy hits us” comments.

  18. This was a 3000kg bomb. For reference, the biggest bomb the US has that’s regularly put on aircraft (aka not the MOAB) is ~907kg (the mk84).

  21. Kharkiv is second most populous city in Ukraine and it was home for huge number of Russian-speaking Ukrainians.

  22. They have to give Ukraine the ability to use a Moab if they need to. Problem is getting it delivered to Russians on Battlefield. JDAMs aren’t enough because Ukraine is so big. It’s not condensed areas necessarily like other wars in the past.

  23. I’d expect a 3 ton bomb to at least destroy the building next to it. 3 tons of fertilizer in Oklahoma City caused more damage than this.

  32. Lift the restrictions on western weapons ! Let Ukraine fight as they please. Russia is using everything they have except nuclear weapons at this point. The war can’t escalate more, and No even Russians aint that stupid to use nukes.

  39. Looks like England will have to find their old 12,000 and 20,000lb bombs and send them to Ukraine. They should have a few laying around in an armoury somewhere
